A short guided breathing reset to steady your nervous system in the middle of a busy day. This practice uses slow, extended exhales to help release tension, settle the mind, and bring your system out of stress mode — in just a few minutes. No visualisation. No special setting required. You can do this at your desk, in the car, or between tasks whenever you need a moment to reset and refocus. Simple. Grounding. Easy to return to anytime. Composer: Liborio Conti

Welcome,

I'm Kate and this is Steady Breath 3-minute Reset.

Take a moment to pause,

Wherever you are,

Whatever you're doing,

Just stop for a few seconds.

You don't need to close your eyes,

You don't need silence.

This is just a short reset for your system.

Bring your attention to your breathing.

Notice the inhale and the exhale.

Now gently lengthen the exhale.

Inhale through your nose for 1,

2,

3,

4.

Exhale through your nose 6,

5,

4,

3,

2,

1.

Again,

Inhale,

Smooth and steady,

Exhale,

Long and slow.

The extended exhale signals your nervous system that there's no immediate threat,

There's no urgency,

No need to stay tense.

On the next exhale,

Let your shoulders drop a fraction,

Unclench your jaw,

Soften the muscles around your eyes.

Nothing dramatic,

Just a small shift.

Keep the breath easy and unforced.

If your mind is busy,

That's fine,

You don't need to clear it.

Just keep returning to the exhale.

Every slow breath is a reset.

Every exhale is a chance to release a little pressure.

Now let go of counting.

Breathing,

Breathing returns to its natural rhythm.

Notice how you feel now compared to a few minutes ago.

Maybe a little steadier,

A little more settled.

This is something you can return to any time.

One slow breath in,

One long breath out.

It's enough to reset,

Enough to help you continue.

When you're ready,

Carry on with your day and thanks for joining me.
