Hello friend,
My name is Kate Kane and I'm here to guide you through this connecting to truth meditation and the intention here is to allow you to come home to your truth.
When we ask for our truth to be louder,
When we ask to understand what our truth really feels like,
What a yes feels like in our body or what a no feels like in our body,
We will receive it.
What we put our awareness on expands,
So this is a very powerful practice.
I don't believe that we've had enough education,
Enough teaching about how to honor our truth,
How to live a truly aligned life for ourselves.
We haven't learned how to get out of the mind and trust what our body is communicating and to even understand what part of us holds our truth and how to communicate with it.
So that's the intention of this meditation.
I hope you find it really healing and supportive and just know the more you do it,
The stronger and louder your knowing,
Your truth,
Your intuition will become.
I also like to encourage that you have a journal,
Something to write with,
To do some reflection afterwards.
Allow yourself some time to write down anything that felt significant or that you were curious about or any new awarenesses you received,
Any insights.
Maybe you will feel something from your truth and you'll write that down and you'll explore it.
So it can be really helpful,
Especially when we're in these states of peace and stillness,
It's really helpful to write down what we experience so that we can return to that,
Return to our knowing and remember the clarity that we felt during that time.
And that can help to guide us and to help us feel more capable and stronger in our knowing.
And just grabbing anything that you would like to have to be really comfortable in your meditation today.
You can either lie down or sit,
Whatever is going to feel supportive to you today is perfect.
And now we're just going to start to sink in to our space,
Closing down the eyes and really starting to turn inward,
Saying hello to your body,
Starting to invite in peace and stillness and just starting to check in with yourself.
What is your body feeling like and could you do anything to make it feel more restful,
More comfortable,
Softer?
And then checking in with the mind.
Has the mind been really busy today?
Just noticing where you're at,
Inviting in more softness,
More stillness,
More peace,
More ease,
And remembering that you are not your thoughts.
Let's take a moment to honor that and connect into your true being,
Your true essence.
You are aware of your thoughts.
There is a part of you thinking the thoughts and there's a part of you that's aware that you're thinking the thoughts.
So just tuning into that part of you,
The observer,
The awareness,
The stillness,
Just noticing and creating some separation between you and your thoughts.
I invite you to do a little visualization here.
Imagine yourself seated on a moving train and you're inside the train and you can see your thoughts outside of the train,
Like clouds passing or scenery passing,
And you're just watching the thoughts and that can all be happening outside of your window,
But you're inside the train with your eyes closed in peace and stillness and you could choose to open your eyes and look out the window or you could choose not to.
And I'm gonna guide you through a little grounding and you're just gonna use your imagination.
There's no wrong way to do this.
So imagine that you have roots growing out of your spine or coming out of your feet and you can start to feel into this idea again just using your imagination and imagine that these roots are making their way out of your body and they're connecting themselves to the root system of a nearby tree.
Maybe it's a tree from your real life,
Maybe it's right outside your door,
Maybe it's a tree that you're just making up.
Either way is perfect and you're just gonna imagine that these roots coming out of you are meeting up and talking to and intermingling with the roots of a strong sturdy wise tree and your roots are following the trees roots down into the earth and it's connecting with all of the intelligence all of the nature down below and then it gets to the center of the earth and when we get to the center of the earth we say hello to Mother Earth with all her wisdom compassion and we're gonna take a moment to just let anything that we need to let go drain out of us and into Mother Earth through that root system and don't worry she can take it she is a magnificent transmuter of energy so just let go and release anything that doesn't serve you allow her to take it she will alchemize it and just allow yourself to feel that that's happening because you're intending it to and that's the only thing that makes it real is your intention so don't be afraid to let it be true she's taking everything anything that you took on today any energy that isn't yours just let it drain out of you and then she's gonna fill you back up with her rooted grounded wise stable sturdy confident intelligent energy and you're just gonna allow that to cycle through your body just using your imagination and then we're gonna connect to a few different energy centers here that are gonna help us to connect to our truth so the first one is the solar plexus this is located at the base of the ribcage right at the sternum right around the stomach area so I invite you to just bring your awareness into the center see if you can bring your breath and energy into that space just moving it as best you can and if you notice that it's hard to breathe up into that space that's okay it will take practice to move your breath and energy higher than your lower energy centers this is a higher one so just bringing awareness to this center this is our Center for tuning into our gut knowing this is our Center for inner strength and resilience our sense of empowerment confidence and abundance so just breathing into that space and then I invite you to see if you can bring your breath and awareness a little bit higher send it up into the heart into the center of the chest just doing your best this is our Center for self compassion self-love patience kindness and just infinite infinite amounts of love and this is a center often neglected when we're not honoring our truth then we're not listening to ourselves so we just want to bring awareness into this space the space of self-love and just noticing what do we need to work on here how can I show myself more love how can I show myself more trust and grace and forgiveness forgiveness then I invite you to move your awareness a little bit higher into your third eye this is located between your eyebrows in the center of the forehead and just breathing into that energy center setting the intention to connect to it to have it be open and active this is our Center for intuition and clear vision really being able to see truth see things clearly like we're cleaning the smudges off the glass and you're inviting in more truth more clarity this is also where our psychic abilities lie synchronicities and again we're just using our intention and imagination this is how we create there's no wrong way to do it if we believe then so it is you're using your own power to create this experience for yourself and just see if you can breathe into those spaces feeling rooted into the earth feeling that you are a clear vessel a clear vessel feeling your Center for strength and a gut knowing feeling strong feeling that that is activated feeling into your heart tuning in as much as you can to feelings of self-love honoring self self-compassion and then feeling into that third eye space and now I'm going to recite a few mantras for us here and I invite you to either just listen letting them absorb into your body letting the words resonate allowing them to be true allowing yourself to believe you can also repeat them if you would like but you don't have to I am connected to my truth in this moment I am bringing my truth forward I am allowing my truth to be front and center my truth and my knowing and my intuition is so much stronger and louder than any doubt or any fear I listen to my truth when it speaks to me I slow down so that I can hear it and feel it I honor my truth and what it wants me to know my truth is my medicine my truth is my guiding light and only I know I will notice what a yes feels like in my body and what a no feels like in my body and I will notice because I'm aware and I'm tuned in and I'm moving slower throughout my day and because I've chosen to honor that part of myself that wants to help me that wants to show me I will listen I will honor it I will get curious I will work on this I know that it is a skill that I can build and it will get stronger every time I practice this and now speaking directly to your truth I am so sorry that I haven't been listening I'm really sorry that I haven't listened but I'm changing that now I want our connection to be strong and stable I want to hear from you I'm sorry if I ignored you and shoved you away I was just scared but I'm working on that now I'm choosing to live an authentic life an authentic life that is true to me and I know that takes a lot of courage and I know I can do it and I will have patience with myself and I will have grace with myself and I know that it won't happen overnight but it will happen and it's already happening in this moment because I'm asking so thank you thank you to my truth for not giving up on me for continuing to show up I open up this space to hear from my truth to know what it sounds like to know what it feels like that is my intention and that is what will happen so just starting to seal our session today give a little acknowledgement about this work that you've done thank yourself for being here breathe in belief that this is the work and that it does work just give yourself a little nod like yes yes this is it I'm doing the thing and take a big inhale and exhale and just notice how you feel open your eyes grab your journal and write down anything that felt significant any new awareness maybe any repeated awareness any new insights any guidance you received anything that you're curious to explore further or just anything at all okay my friend thank you for being here I am so happy to be helping you on your journey namaste
