Sit comfortably either on a chair or on the ground with your legs crossed.
Have a straight back and let your shoulders drop down your back away from your ears.
Allow your eyes to close gently.
Allow the muscles around your eyes to gently soften and relax.
Send your awareness now to the connection points you have to the earth.
If you're in a chair,
Perhaps that's your feet on the ground and if you're sitting on the ground then your sits bones under your hips.
In doing so you're anchoring yourself,
Grounding yourself to the earth.
Breathing slowly,
Being aware of those connection points and how the earth is supporting you.
As you inhale through your nose,
Can you pause for half a beat at the top of your breath before you exhale.
Inhaling through your nose and just exhaling in whatever way feels right for you.
Can you pay attention to your breath now?
Can you notice how on your inhale you breathe into your chest and it expands and on your exhale it contracts.
Rest your awareness in your heart center,
The center of your chest,
Your heart chakra.
Notice how as you breathe in and out of this place it expands and contracts.
Can you sense this space in your body?
Can you feel the space in the center of your chest as you're breathing in and out of that place?
Now can you unfold your awareness to feel the space just outside of your chest,
The space around your body?
Can you hold in your awareness the space just outside your body,
Around your shoulders,
Your back,
Your chest?
Can you feel that space just outside of your body?
Can you sense the energy coming from your heart chakra?
If you can't connect to it that's okay,
Just sense the space there holding it in your awareness.
Whatever you are experiencing right now is perfect for you.
Holding the space just outside of your body in your awareness.
Your awareness is outside of your body.
Your awareness is separate to your body.
Now shift your awareness to the top of your head,
Your crown chakra.
If you need help connecting to it you can take your fingers and gently rub the top,
Center top of your head.
Hold your awareness in that place,
The top of your head.
Now imagine light above your head,
A stream of light coming from the universe.
Perhaps it's golden,
Perhaps it's white but you know this light is pure love energy and this light is entering your body through the top of your head,
Your crown chakra.
As you inhale,
Breathe this loving energy in through your crown chakra and on your exhales allow it to fill your heart chakra.
Breathing this energy down through your head into your heart space,
Feeling it with this loving energy.
Maybe you feel a lightness,
A warmth,
A sense of joy as you breathe in this loving blissful energy through the top of your head,
Feeling your heart,
This golden or white light.
What is your heart's desire right now?
Ask your heart what it wants most now imagine that thing,
See it in your mind's eye.
Now imagine that it has already happened,
The thing you want most has already happened.
How do you feel?
You Can you imagine how it has positively affected the people in your life and the people around you?
How has this thing you're creating positively influenced other people?
Hold that,
Feel it in your body as if it's already happened.
Now expand that feeling,
Let it loose around your body,
Pull it outside your body,
That feeling,
That intention that you're creating.
Now send it up above your body,
Above your head and out into the infinite universe.
Send it up high,
High,
High above your intention and all the joy it created and let it go.
Let that little piece of magic you created out into the universe,
Trust that it is done.
Now hold in your awareness the space around you,
The space around and outside your body,
The space beyond the walls of the room that you're in,
Beyond the walls of the building,
Stretch it far out into space.
Let your awareness stretch as far as you can go,
Holding the infinite space.
In your mind it might help to see black or a night sky.
Feel the expansiveness of your awareness stretching out and holding all this space.
Now bring your awareness back into your body,
Pull it back now into the center of your chest.
And as you move through your day,
You can carry that spaciousness inside you.
