Welcome to this morning sanctuary.
I'm Karen Voss,
And I'm so grateful you've chosen to begin your day here.
Before anything is required of you today,
Before you step into roles,
Responsibilities,
Or expectations.
Let's begin here.
In this quiet moment.
With your breath.
Take a slow,
Steady breath in.
And gently breathe out.
Again.
Breathing in calm presence.
Breathing out any unnecessary tension.
Allow your body to arrive fully.
Feel the support beneath you.
The ground holding you.
The chair or bed beneath you.
You do not need to hold yourself up right now.
You are supported.
Let that land for a moment.
There is a kind of strength that does not tighten.
It does not rush.
It does not push or force.
It simply stays.
Steady.
Present.
Available.
This is soft strength.
And it already lives within you.
Imagine a tall tree and early morning light.
Its roots are deep in the earth.
Its branches move gently with the wind.
It does not resist the weather.
It does not collapse under it.
It bends.
It adapts.
It remains rooted.
This is what strength can look like in you.
Not rigid.
Not overwhelmed.
But grounded.
Alive.
Presence.
Take a breath.
Bring your awareness to your body.
Notice that even now.
.
.
Your heart is beating.
Your lungs are breathing.
Your body is doing what it has always known how to do.
Without instruction,
Without pressure.
There is intelligence in that.
There is strength.
In that.
Soft strength is what carries you through ordinary days.
Through conversations.
Through decisions.
Through moments that no one else sees.
It is the strength that lets you pause before reacting.
The strength that lets you begin again.
The strength that says,
I don't have to abandon myself.
To get through this day.
Place one hand gently over your heart.
Feel its steady rhythm.
It does not rush.
It does not compete.
It simply continues.
Silently repeat,
I carry a soft and steady strength within me.
I do not need to force my way through this day.
I can stay grounded in myself.
I trust my ability to meet what comes.
Yes,
Take a moment here.
Imagine yourself walking slowly along a quiet path again.
This time.
You are not rushing forward.
You are not trying to arrive anywhere else.
You are simply walking.
Present.
Steady.
Breathing.
With each step,
You notice something important.
You are still here.
Even after everything you've carried.
Even after everything you've navigated.
You are still here.
That is strength.
Not loud strength.
Not performance strength.
But the quiet.
Kind.
Strength that says,
I am still here,
And I will continue.
Let that settle in your body.
You are not fragile.
And you are not required to be unbreakable.
You are human.
And within that humanity,
There is resilience.
There is steadiness.
There is soft strength.
Take a slow breath in.
And a long,
Steady breath out.
Feel your nervous system soften into that truth.
You do not need to prove your strength today.
You only need to live it gently.
One moment at a time.
One breath.
At a time.
You can silently repeat or think in your mind or say aloud with me the following… Today,
I move with soft strength.
I remain steady within myself.
I meet life without abandoning my peace.
I trust what is within me.
Take one final deep breath in.
And slowly breathe out.
As you move into your day.
May you notice the ways you are already strong in quiet ways.
May you meet challenges without tightening around them.
And may you return again and again to your breath.
And may you remember.
Soft strength.
Is still strength.
And it is already yours.
Thank you for joining me.
Have a beautiful day.
