This is a self-loving mantra meditation.
If you're lying down,
Try and lay on your back and get as straight as possible.
And if you're sitting up,
Sit up tall,
Slightly roll your shoulders back,
And gently lift your chin.
Begin to connect to your breath.
See if you can hear your inhales and your exhales.
See if you can turn them into a gentle dance,
An equal rhythm.
Inhale and exhale.
If they aren't already,
Please close your eyes and visualize yourself in your favorite place,
Anywhere in the world.
It's a place that you love to be,
Somewhere where you feel completely at ease.
When you feel yourself there,
Gently repeat these healing,
Self-loving mantras after me.
Today,
I am going to be grounded,
Connected,
And rooted in my body.
Today,
I am going to be compassionate with myself,
And I will try to allow my feelings to flow.
Today,
I am going to be protective of my inner light and share it when I choose to.
Today,
I am going to be open to giving and receiving unconditional love.
Today,
I am going to authentically express myself with my voice.
Today,
I will be guided by my powerful intuition.
And today,
I will remember that I am a part of everything,
And everything is a part of me.
We're going to repeat these self-love mantras one more time.
This time,
We're going to add your breath.
So on your next inhale,
Draw your breath all the way to your root at the base of your tailbone.
Take a few deep breaths into this space.
And as you do,
Just say in your mind,
Today,
I am grounded,
Connected,
And rooted in my body.
On your next inhale,
Draw your breath into your lower abdomen,
Your sacral chakra.
And as you do,
Repeat,
Repeat,
Today,
I am going to be compassionate with myself and I will allow my feelings to flow.
Now draw your breath into your upper abdomen,
Your solar plexus.
And repeat,
Today,
I am protective of my inner light and I will shine it and share it when I choose to.
This time,
Draw your breath into your heart.
And as you do,
Repeat to yourself,
Today,
I am open to giving and receiving unconditional love.
Now guide your breath into your throat.
And repeat,
Today,
I am going to be authentically expressive with my voice.
Guide your breath up into your third eye in the middle of your forehead.
Imagine a light just shining into this space.
And as you see it in your mind,
Just simply say,
Today,
I will be guided by my powerful intuition.
And finally,
Draw your breath up into the very top of your head,
Your crown.
And say in your mind,
Today,
I will remember that I am a part of everything and everything is a part of me.
Take a few long,
Slow,
Beautiful,
Deep breaths,
Gently awakening your mind and body to this moment.
