This morning meditation is created to guide you through 10 self-reflective questions and practices to mindfully awaken to your day. In this meditation you will have time to explore questions related to these themes: release, reset, calm, quiet, soft, peaceful, tranquil, harmony, compassion, and love. This is an extended adaptation of the original meditation "Zen in Ten". Thank you for meditating with me, Julie

Welcome to your morning meditation where I will be guiding you through 10 reflective questions to mindfully begin your day.

Get extra cozy and comfortable in your favorite morning meditation space or lying in bed.

Remember to allow your breathing to be soft and slow.

And together,

Let's take a deep inhale and exhale and let's go in.

Release.

What are you holding in your mind or body that is ready to be released?

Allow your inhales to be a fresh start.

Your exhales to be the release,

The letting go.

Reset.

Today is a new beginning.

What part of you needs an intentional reset?

Place your hands over the space and guide your breath into this part of your body with the intention of healing and restoration and reset.

Calm.

What does calm feel like for you?

Take this time to embody this feeling now.

Quiet.

How does it feel to quiet your mind and your body?

Let the sounds around you dissolve and take this time to just listen to the sound of your quiet.

Soft.

How does the word soft make you feel?

Bring your attention into your heart.

Open it softly and listen to what your heart has to say to you today.

Peaceful.

Where is a place that you love to be that feels peaceful?

Take your mind to that space and see yourself there and feel yourself there now.

Tranquil.

What does tranquil water look like to you?

Can you see it in your mind?

Bring yourself there,

See yourself sitting next to it.

Feel it and see if you can embody this tranquility.

How can you bring more harmony,

More balance to your day today?

See the special moments that lie ahead and plant the seed to meet those moments with harmony.

Compassion.

What deserves more of your compassion today?

Yourself?

Another person?

A situation?

Whatever this is for you,

Set the intention for this compassion now.

Love.

Your final question.

In this moment,

What do you love?

A nice deep breath together.

I hope your day ahead is filled with the elements and the essence of releasing,

Resetting,

Feeling calm,

Experiencing quiet,

Being soft,

Peaceful,

Feeling tranquil,

Finding harmony,

Receiving and giving compassion and experiencing love.
