Today's meditation is designed to be peaceful and relaxing and to open the energy of your crown chakra.
This energy is a higher consciousness,
The true embodiment of peace and universal connection.
Before we go in,
I invite you to get super comfortable and cozy for this meditation.
Whatever position feels best for you is right.
I will be guiding you through a somatic practice for stress release,
Followed by a few minutes of quiet visualization and relaxation to open your crown chakra energy,
And we will close with the embodiment of peaceful words.
So let's go in.
Begin to connect to the rhythm of your breathing.
Make it peaceful for your body.
Beautiful dance,
A natural ebb and flow of inhales and exhales.
Fill yourself with an intention of relaxation with your inhales and allow yourself to set energy free with your exhales.
Gently closing your eyes.
Bring your awareness to the very top of your head.
This is the home of your crown chakra.
The element is pure spirit and the symbol is a beautiful thousand petaled lotus flower.
Each petal representing a unique aspect of your being.
We focus on opening this chakra because it is the center of transformation.
It's an understanding,
A belief,
A knowing that you belong.
It is remembering that you are connected to everything.
Let's take a nice deep breath together and begin to visualize this thousand petaled lotus at the very top of your head,
Even hovering above it.
Add colors,
Layers of details and texture to the image of this lotus in your mind.
Focus on its beauty and together we will be doing three rounds of full body squeezing and releasing.
This is a somatic practice that allows your body to mindfully feel the shift between tension and relaxation.
On your next inhale,
You will be squeezing your entire body as much as you can and holding it to the count of five.
You will then exhale and release,
Noticing how good it feels to let go.
We will do this together three times and here we go.
Begin to inhale deep,
Holding your breath at the top,
Squeezing all of your muscles.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
Exhale,
Let go and release.
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
Again,
Inhale deep,
Holding your breath,
Squeezing all of your muscles.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
Exhale,
Let go and release.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
In the final round,
Inhale and hold.
Two,
Three,
Five.
Exhale,
Let go,
Set free,
Release.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
Embracing this feeling of relaxation,
The next three minutes are for you to open your crown chakra.
You will focus on your breathing,
Visualize the lotus flower and allow yourself to simply and beautifully be at peace.
If your thoughts wander,
Come back to the sounds of your breath,
But this time is all for you to rest.
I'm now going to say a series of words to you.
Repeat them in your mind and feel the meaning that they bring to you.
Tranquility.
Clarity.
Transformation.
Openness.
Stillness.
Complete.
Your crown energy is now open and flowing for you,
Connecting you to the entire universe around you.
If you ever feel disconnected from yourself,
From others,
From the world,
As we all do at times,
Come back to the lotus flower hovering above your head.
This is the gateway,
The door to remembering that you are a part of everything.
You are peace.
You are love.
You are whole.
If you are ready to come out of meditation,
Start with a very gentle and short squeeze and releases of the muscles in all parts of your body.
Briefly holding and releasing from your toes,
Through your legs,
Your hands,
Up your torso,
All the way to the very top of your head.
And when you feel reawakened,
Place your hands palm side up as an offering of both giving and receiving.
Enjoy a few more deep breaths saying thank you to the universe and thank you to yourself.
Sending you love and wishes for infinite peace of mind,
Body,
And spirit.
Thank you for meditating today.
