Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and let the sunlight remind you that peace and beauty are always around you—and within you.

Hello and welcome.

Today's meditation is inspired by the Japanese word komorebi,

Which means sunlight filtering through the trees.

It describes that tranquil,

Natural moment when golden light dances as it passes through the leaves.

A gentle reminder that light always finds its way,

Even on the hardest of days.

Komorebi calls us to slow down,

To notice beauty in small details,

And to allow peace and awe to rise in stillness.

Together let's step into that light.

Find a comfortable seat or lie down.

Let your body soften.

Take a slow deep breath in and release fully.

Another deep breath in and let it all go.

Gently close your eyes.

Imagine yourself in a serene forest.

The air is cool and fresh.

The earth feels soft beneath you.

Your senses awaken,

Invigorated by nature.

Above tall trees stretch towards the sky.

Their branches sway gently in the breeze.

Now notice the sunlight trickling through the leaves,

Golden rays shifting and dancing with the wind.

The light touches everything in its own way,

The forest floor,

The trees.

And somehow it always finds you.

With each inhale draw in this golden light.

Feel it filling your body with warmth,

Ease,

And peace.

With each exhale release tension,

Let it dissolve into the forest air.

Continue breathing in this rhythm.

Inhale,

Light,

Warmth,

Peace.

Exhale,

Release,

Soften,

Surrender.

Inhale,

Light,

Warmth,

Peace.

Exhale,

Release,

Soften,

Surrender.

Allow the golden light to move into your heart.

Feel it radiating softly within you,

Reminding you that you too are part of nature's rhythm.

Stay here for a few moments,

Simply breathing,

Simply glowing.

Bathe in Komorebi.

When you are ready,

Take a final deep breath,

Filling yourself completely with light.

Exhale slowly,

Grounding back into this present moment.

Gently open your eyes.

Stretch your arms upward like the branches of the trees.

Sway your body from side to side like the forest moving in the wind.

Carry this sunlight within you as you move into your day.

Remember,

Just as light filters through the trees,

Your own inner light always finds a way to shine through.
