Good morning,
This is Julie Skahn and welcome to your morning meditation.
This is a special meditation.
It's a practice that I follow daily and it's a particular meditation that is meant to be ritualized and that is because it is comprised of ten questions that prompt self-reflection,
That inspire intention and that gets your mindset and your energy flowing for you,
Which in turn allows you to create and experience a day ahead that you are deeply connected with.
So whether you are lying in bed,
Just waking up,
Or you're in your favorite meditation space,
Let's take a slow breath together,
Beginning to tune in to the feelings and the sound of your inhales and exhales.
I'm about to guide you through a series of ten important questions,
Leaving you space between each for your reflections and your answers to surface.
Be kind with yourself talk,
Fill yourself with love and care,
And as you do this practice will create a ripple effect that mindfully touches you throughout moments of your day ahead.
Another round of soft deep breaths,
Allow your eyes to softly close and feel your body relax.
Here we go.
Today,
Right now,
In this exact moment,
Who are you?
What are the smallest or the biggest things that you are currently grateful for?
What does your body need from you today and how will you take extra special care of it?
Who would you like to share your time with and connect to today?
Where is a place that you would like to go today,
Physically or in your mind,
That adds to your energy and brings you joy?
What are the moments in your day ahead that you are already looking forward to being present within?
What are some kind and loving words that you can say to yourself right now?
What are some kind and loving words that you can say to someone else?
At the end of this day,
How would you like to feel?
And finally,
Setting the stage for today,
What is the mindset and the energy that you are embodying starting right now?
Another deep breath together.
And if you are ready to go about your day,
Gently squeeze and release the muscles in your body,
Starting with your toes by pointing and flexing your feet.
Start to move your legs,
Give yourself a nice stretch.
Take a few deep belly breaths and place your hands over your heart,
Repeating the words thank you to yourself.
And whenever you are ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Taking this time for you puts the energy in motion for the beautiful day ahead that awaits you.

They evolve with time and quickly you will see how it impacts your day.
