Take some time to connect with the cooling, healing, flowing energies of the water element. This can help calm anger or irritation and gently open to the flow of emotions in your body. Allow the calming energy of water to melt any stuck places and balance your body and mind through this simple meditation with the element of water.

Welcome to this guided meditation on calling in and working with the energies of water.

Water is calming,

Cooling,

Cleansing,

And inviting of emotions in general.

When we work with water,

We are inviting flow,

Movement,

Energy,

Sweetness,

Healing,

And calm.

If you're feeling irritated,

Overwhelmed,

Unwell,

Or energetically blocked,

Tapping into the element of water may help.

Begin by getting comfortable.

You can certainly do this meditation sitting up,

But it might be nice to lay down,

Maybe even with a bolster or cushion under your upper back,

Allowing your belly and chest to gently open.

Let your arms fall open and your shoulders relax.

Notice if your breath is able to move into your belly.

You could take a nice deep breath into your belly and exhale fully,

If that feels right.

Take a moment to acknowledge the land you are on and your relationship with this land.

Consider the bodies of water that are around here,

Or not.

The land's relationship with brain.

The way the earth or trees or plants retain or release water.

Now imagine a circle of protection around you,

Like a shiny bubble.

Transparent,

But strong.

Only energies of healing,

Calm,

Flow,

Creativity,

Playfulness,

And gentleness may enter this circle,

In alignment with the highest good of all.

Anything that does not align with the highest good cannot enter this circle of protection.

Sit with the intentions you were working with as you tap into the element of water.

See if there is anything you would like to add to this cooling,

Cleansing,

Gentle water energy,

And invite that into your bubble,

Into your body.

Take a moment to notice the water in your body.

The flow that's already present.

The blood moving through your veins.

The way the breath flows in and out through your lungs.

The moisture in your skin and throughout your organs.

Notice the truth that your body is mostly made of water.

It is fluid and mutable.

Can shift and change and bend and flow.

It can dance if you want it to.

It can feel.

Now imagine that you are floating in water.

A completely comfortable,

Safe type of water for you today.

Exactly the right temperature.

You can breathe air that is fresh and sweet,

As long as you rest in the buoyant water,

Allowing your body to float softly along its surface.

Invite any emotions that need to move through you right now.

Let these feelings flow through your hips and pelvis,

Your low belly,

Your solar plexus,

Around your stomach,

Your heart,

Your throat,

Your eyes,

Your forehead,

Down through your arms and your legs.

Don't resist anything.

Simply allow these energies to flow.

Allow anything that you do not need,

Anything that is excess,

That is sitting too heavy on you.

Allow anything that is not yours to gently,

Simply flow away from your body.

Allow this water energy to gently,

Softly cool these energies,

Releasing them simply and easily.

When you feel ready,

Come back to the container of your body.

Come back to the solidity of your bones,

Your connection to the earth,

The air,

The fire in your body,

The balance of energies that make you,

You.

Notice any differences that are available having spent some time with the cooling,

Cleansing energies of water.

Keep as much of this energy with you as you need,

Allowing the elements to balance within you in the way that is best for you,

In alignment with the highest good of all.
