If you have a womb (or had one, or wish you had one), this little part of our bodies can go through some pretty big things. We can experience pain, bleeding, and major life changes with the shifts and changes of this little organ. Our bodies hold secrets, but they are often more than willing to talk to us if we take the time to listen. Slow down and pay attention to the energy of your womb (even if the physical uterus is not there) and see if you can listen to what it's trying to tell you.

Welcome to this guided meditation on attending to,

Loving,

And healing your relationship with your womb.

Our bodies talk to us,

Often through symptoms.

Maybe your womb gives you pain,

Cramping,

Bleeding,

Or other symptoms around your period.

Maybe you've experienced infertility,

Miscarriage,

Or complications in giving birth.

Maybe this is a part of you that you simply don't have much of a relationship with and want to get to know a little better.

Maybe this is a simple practice of maintaining a loving relationship with your body.

Whatever the story might be between you and your womb,

Let's spend some time getting to know it,

Loving it,

And listening to it.

Get comfortable,

Whatever that means for you today.

You're welcome to sit or lie down.

If it feels right,

Place your hands over your womb,

Wherever you feel it to be.

For you,

Don't worry too much about the anatomy.

Trust that your hands know where to be to attend to the energy of your womb.

It might be useful to know that even if the physical organ of your uterus is gone,

The energy of that organ remains in your body.

You can still connect to your womb energy even if the physical material of it has left your body or never been there in the first place.

Take a few breaths,

Noticing how you feel.

Notice if the breath will move to this part of your body,

If your lower belly is receiving your breath.

Now connect to the earth beneath you,

The ground,

The land that you are on in your relationship with this land.

Allow the loving energy of the earth to support you.

Feel the connection of your hands to your womb.

Notice their warmth and weight.

Feel what it's like to attend to this part of your body,

To feel it.

Notice how it feels,

If it's in pain right now or discomfort.

If it feels empty or quiet or loud or tight or soft.

See if you can simply notice what's going on in this part of your body without needing to judge it,

Fix it,

Analyze it,

Or do anything about it.

Simply notice what's going on.

Now see if there's anything you would like to say to your womb.

Do your best to come from a place of love and compassion.

Go ahead and speak to it if you want to.

When that feels complete for you,

Listen.

Notice if there's anything your womb wants to say back.

And if you haven't already,

Ask your womb if there's anything it needs.

Notice if there's anything it's asking for that you can do for it.

If there is,

See if this ask is possible,

Reasonable,

If there's anything you can actually commit to to help your womb.

If nothing comes,

That's totally fine.

It's important that you ask.

This conversation may continue today and tomorrow and the next day.

You may wish to set the intention to keep this line of communication open as you move through the coming days,

Weeks,

Months,

Maybe the rest of your life.

Now I invite you to imagine a warm,

Loving,

Golden light right at the top of your head.

Allow this light to move from the top of your head down through your entire body,

Especially bathing your womb in this lovely golden light.

Allow this light to gently clear anything that doesn't belong here and to nourish whatever it is that you and your womb may need.

And allow this light to move all the way down through your legs and into the earth below you,

Connecting you to the wisdom of love and the earth and the land below you.

Remember yourself as connected,

Loved,

A part of the web of everything.

When you're ready,

Take a few deep breaths.

Move if you'd like to.

Thank your womb for talking with you.

And thank yourself for listening.

Thank the earth and the sky and the light and the land and whatever else you'd like to thank.

I wish you and your womb a wonderful rest of your day.
