Let's get comfortable now.

Lie on your back,

Your feet are apart,

Arms are away from your body and palms facing up.

Now close your eyes and remain very still.

Now imagine you are an eagle flying high in the sky.

You are a majestic,

Powerful bird.

Your feathers are so shiny,

Your beak is so strong and you have large eyes with really powerful eyesight and you can see for miles and miles as you fly through the sky.

Take your time now to fly even higher and you're going to glide for some distance.

So you fly up really high so that you can enjoy your journey and really see what is below you as you fly.

A few flaps of your large wings take you higher and higher and when you've reached the height you wish to fly at,

Just relax and let the air carry you on your journey.

Your body is light and relaxed and you enjoy the feeling of floating high above.

Let's spend some time exploring the world and remember you have total freedom so you can fly wherever you wish.

Perhaps this is a favorite place you'd like to visit,

Somewhere that you've been before or maybe somewhere you have imagined.

Look far and wide and what do you see?

Can you see land,

Mountains,

The beach,

Rivers,

Your house,

Your family and friends?

Can you see a castle,

Any boats,

A train,

Lions running through the bush,

The rainforest,

Children at school,

Buses and cars?

This is your magical world so see whatever you wish and you may wish to fly in circles so that you can really take in the wonderful views.

And remember you have total freedom and control.

Wow you feel so amazing and so happy.

You can feel the wind against your face,

The sunshine on your feathers.

Remember you can fly as fast or as slow as you wish.

Continue with your soaring eagle flight,

Taking in all of the sights and sounds of your trip.

Your journey is coming.

Your journey is coming to an end now.

So float down and down.

Coming back to earth.

Fly down so that you are safely on the ground.

You are merging back with the world.

Take some gentle breaths in and out.

You may wish to continue with your relaxation.

Just remain still and calm.

This older than a child truly ENJOYED soaring with the Eagle. However many young children especially in the city have not seen how eagles and hawks are not like most birds, in that they can ride the wind without flapping their wings, seemingly motionless in the sky, with only a muscle or 2 changing them into another draft. It was imagining riding the wind that even now closing my eyes makes me smile. Thank you
