Welcome to this healing drum meditation.
I invite you to just settle in to whatever position you'd like to be in today.
And just do a noticing of your body and mind,
How you're feeling.
Is there a part of you that's holding tension or emotional stress?
Perhaps you would like to use some self-care touch on whatever part of your body that might be by placing the palms of your hands against that area or those areas gently and tenderly.
And then relax your body around that hand position so that your arms are relaxed,
Your shoulders are lowered and relaxed,
And your arms and hands are relaxed.
And then let your face be relaxed as well,
Particularly between your eyebrows and your lower jaw.
Let it be loose.
And just close your eyes into this time of inner healing for you.
Without having to think about it,
Just let yourself listen to the sound of the drum,
The healing sound of the power of this ancient instrument,
The simplicity of it,
And the healing potential it brings for relaxation of the body,
Mind,
Emotions,
And the potential to connect with your spirit.
Just listen now.
Let yourself be guided by the drum.
Let it take you to wherever you need to be as you continue to administer self-care touch to your body as well.
Breathing easily,
Gently,
Quietly.
Breathing into the peace of the healing drum.
One more time.
And then breathing into the healing space of now.
Allowing your mind to show you what your healing intention needs to be for today.
And then allowing the healing beat of the drum to help you move that healing intention into your life today.
