First,
Sit of our little community for the new year.
Locating the body,
The breath in the body,
Inviting the attention to rest on the breath if that's not supportive then unsound.
Maybe call to mind someone whom you'll be communicating with today and cultivate some warmth for them,
Wish them well,
Send goodwill in their direction and really warm the heart towards them.
Not so much formulating what you might be having to say to them but a kind of attitude towards them,
Of wishing them well.
Maybe there's another person,
Call them to mind and then is there someone whom you'll be listening to today and can you bring them into your heart as well?
Wish them well and create a little template,
Being curious and attentive and patient.
And then the last but not least person,
All the self-talk,
All the ways that you may be saying things to yourself or about yourself,
Can you bring in thinking cap and be truthful and helpful and connected.
Make sure what you're saying to yourself is necessary and kind and can you listen to yourself with curiosity and attention and patience.
