So finding your seat,
If you're sitting or the body,
If you're in some other posture besides seated and just settling in,
Really letting the body settle into this moment,
And finding the breath,
And just inviting the attention to the breath,
And then maybe call to mind someone who you expect to see next week,
Maybe your Thanksgiving table,
Or just any time,
Someone who you really love and who really loves you in an easy way,
Calling that person to mind and really wishing for their happiness.
May you be happy.
And wishing for their good health.
May you be healthy,
Have as much health as you are being afforded right now.
May you be healthy.
May you be safe,
Too,
Thinking about this person and wishing for their safety.
In a world that is not always safe.
May you be safe.
And wishing them ease.
May you live with ease.
Ease in their life,
Ease with hindrances that arise for them.
And then think about some of the other folks that you might see next week at your Thanksgiving table,
Or just in your life,
And who are just friends,
Acquaintances,
Family members that you don't have strong feelings about one way or the other.
And just wishing for their happiness as well.
May you be happy.
And healthy.
I wish for your good health.
And may you be safe.
Really want you to be safe in your life.
Safe from outer harm,
Safe from inner harm.
And may you live with ease.
May you have ease and peace.
And then maybe there's one or two people,
The people in the hats,
Or someone else who you're gonna see next week,
Or at your table,
Or in any way.
Yeah,
It feels like they're really different from you.
It feels hard to be with them.
And see what you have for them.
Can you wish for their happiness right now?
And for their good health,
May you be happy,
May you be healthy.
For their safety,
Can you wish for their safety right now?
Best you can.
May you be safe.
And may you have a life filled with ease.
And then taking in all this goodwill that you're offering,
And letting it reflect back to yourself.
Letting it reflect back to yourself as if each of these people,
Each of the people coming to sit at your table,
Or the table you'll be at,
Or each person you'll see next week in some way,
Also wishes for your happiness.
So take that in,
Wish it for yourself.
May I be happy and healthy.
May I be safe.
May I live with ease.
And then taking all of that and just sending it out right now into the world to all beings.
Just letting it go and sending it out there to all beings,
Wishing for the well-being and happiness and safety of all beings.
