Welcome beautiful soul.
Today you're invited into the sacred embrace of cleansing rain.
A journey of release,
Renewal,
Softness and return.
So before we begin prepare your space in a way that feels nourishing to you.
Perhaps that means lighting a candle or wrapping yourself in a warm cozy blanket or sitting beside your favorite lamp.
You may wish to have soft rain sounds or calming instrumental music playing quietly in the background or just happy with what I've got playing and allow this time to begin entirely for you.
There is nowhere else you need to be,
Nothing else you need to carry,
Nothing you need to solve and for the next few minutes you are simply invited to breathe,
Soften,
Release and receive.
So take a long slow breath in and exhale gently.
And again breathing in peace and breathing out tension.
And one more time breathing in calm and breathing out heaviness.
And as your body settles allow your shoulders to drop,
Relax your jaw,
Soften your forehead,
Unclench your hands and feel the surface beneath you supporting every part of your body.
You are held,
You are safe and you are allowed to rest.
Imagine now that you are standing at the edge of a rainforest.
The air is cool and fresh.
The scent of damp earth rises gently around you.
Tall trees are swaying in the distance and the sky above is painted in deep silver clouds.
A rainstorm is approaching,
Not a frightening storm,
A beautiful sacred one,
A healing one.
And you begin to walk slowly along a moss-covered path.
Each step grounds you more deeply into the earth.
The forest welcomes you,
Leaves rustle overhead,
Branches whisper.
The wind brushes softly across your skin and with every breath you feel yourself leaving behind the noise of the outside world.
Those expectations,
That rushing,
The pressure,
The emotional weight you've carried for far too long.
You no longer need to hold all of it and continue to walk slowly along the path still.
And ahead you notice a clearing beside a lake.
The water is still,
The air feels sacred and you find a comfortable place to sit beneath an ancient tree.
Its roots deep down in the earth,
Its branches stretching wide up in protection.
And you lean against the trunk and for a few moments you just simply breathe.
The first raindrops begin to fall,
Then another,
And another.
Soft,
Steady,
Rhythmic.
And the rain begins to sing around you.
Listen carefully.
Raindrops tapping leaves,
Rain kissing stones,
Rain rippling across the lake,
Rain soaking into thirsty earth.
And the storm gathers gently around you.
You are completely safe.
This rain has come to cleanse.
As the rain continues to fall,
Imagine that every drop carries healing energy.
Each raindrop knows exactly what you are ready to release.
Perhaps it's stress,
Perhaps sadness,
Perhaps exhaustion,
Perhaps fear,
Perhaps disappointment,
Perhaps grief.
You do not need to force anything,
Just simply allow the rain to do what it came to do.
Feel the rain washing over your shoulders.
Those places where you carry responsibility,
The places where you hold tension,
The places where you have been trying so hard.
And the rain gently loosens the heaviness.
And it begins to flow down your arms,
Out through your fingertips,
Into the earth below.
Feel the cleansing continue.
The rain touches your forehead,
Washing away racing thoughts,
Mental noise,
Overthinking,
Self-doubt.
Every drop cools and softens your mind.
You no longer need to carry every answer.
And now the rain moves across your heart.
Notice what lives there.
Old wounds,
Unspoken feelings,
Loneliness,
Longing,
Memories.
And without judgment,
Simply allow them to rise.
The rain holds them tenderly,
And slowly,
Gently,
Lovingly,
It washes them free.
And you may imagine streams of grey mist leaving your body,
Or leaves floating away down tiny rivers,
Or simply a feeling of spaciousness opening up inside you.
Whatever comes is perfect.
The storm grows stronger now,
Thunder rolls softly in the distance,
Lightning flashes far beyond the mountains.
And yet instead of fear,
You feel release.
The storm is clearing what no longer belongs within you.
Allow yourself to surrender more deeply.
Now the rain begins heavier,
A sacred downpour.
Warm rain pours from the heavens in silver ribbons.
It washes through every layer of your being.
Your physical body,
Your emotional body,
Your mental body,
Your spiritual body.
Everything stagnant begins to move.
Everything hidden begins to loosen.
Everything exhausted begins to soften.
Feel the rain move through your spine,
Down your back,
Through your hips,
Your legs,
Your feet.
The earth receives everything you are ready to let go of.
You are not losing yourself,
You are returning to yourself.
Now imagine that the lake beside you begins glowing softly.
Silver blue light shimmers across the water.
And the rain upon the lake creates endless ripples.
And each ripple carries away another burden.
A fear,
A regret,
A tension,
An old identity,
A story that no longer fits your soul.
Watch them drift away.
You do not need to chase them.
You do not need to reclaim them.
They are leaving because your spirit is ready to become lighter.
Breathe deeply.
You now realize that the storm itself is conscious.
It's ancient,
It's wise,
Compassionate.
It knows exactly how to heal you.
And you no longer resist.
You rest.
And the rain surrounds you like a sacred veil.
And beneath that ancient tree,
You begin to feel completely held,
Supported by earth,
Protected by sky,
Guided by water,
Awakened by spirit.
Allow yourself now to simply exist within this healing rain.
No effort,
No striving,
No growth,
Just presence.
And if thoughts arise,
Just let them drift,
Drift past like clouds and return again to the sound of rain.
The rhythm,
The softness,
The cleansing.
Feel your breathing becoming slower,
Steady,
Deeper.
You are entering profound rest.
Now imagine the rain changing once more.
It becomes warm and luminous,
Almost golden.
And this rain carries forgiveness.
Not forced forgiveness,
Not denial,
Not pretending pain never existed.
But a gentle loosening,
A soft release,
A willingness to stop carrying sharp stones inside your beautiful heart.
Perhaps there is someone you are ready to release.
Perhaps there is a version of yourself that needs compassion.
Perhaps there is a wound asking to finally breathe.
Allow the rain to touch those places.
And the rain is whispering to you and saying,
You have carried enough.
You can soften now.
You can rest now.
You can begin again.
Breathe slowly.
Feel forgiveness opening space inside your body.
More room for peace.
More room for tenderness.
More room for life.
The storm now begins to calm.
The thunder fades into the distance.
The rain softens into a gentle drizzle.
The air smells clean,
Fresh,
Alive.
And mist rises from the forest floor.
Tiny droplets shimmer on leaves like crystals.
And you notice something inside yourself has changed.
The heaviness is no longer gripping you in the same way.
Your body feels lighter.
Your mind quieter.
Your heart softer.
The storm has taken what you no longer need.
And now the earth offers something back.
Renewal.
Imagine a soft light rising from the ground beneath you.
Golden roots of energy move upward into your body.
Filling your feet.
Your legs.
Your hips.
Your stomach.
Your heart.
Your throat.
Your forehead.
The crown of your head.
You are being restored.
Every breath fills you with calm energy.
Every inhale welcomes calm.
Every exhale deepens peace.
And you sit quietly beside the lake,
Listening to the final drops falling from the trees.
The birdsong slowly returns.
The forest feels reborn.
And so do you.
And remain here for a while.
There is no rush.
Simply breathe.
Feel your connection to the earth.
Feel your connection to your spirit.
Feel the strength that lives within you.
And you have already survived every storm that brought you here.
And now you are learning that storms can release as well as break.
But the rain did not come to destroy you.
It came to return you to yourself.
And you may wish to silently repeat,
I release what no longer belongs to me.
I welcome peace into my body and spirit.
I allow myself to begin again.
I am cleansed.
I am renewed.
I am whole.
And breathe deeply.
And let the words settle gently into your heart.
The forest path now begins glowing softly before you.
And slowly,
Gently,
You rise from beneath the ancient tree.
You offer gratitude to the rain,
To the lake,
To the earth,
To your own spirit for showing up today.
And begin walking back along the moss-covered path.
And notice how different you feel.
Lighter,
Calmer,
More spacious within yourself.
And the forest whispers farewell as you approach the edge.
And now slowly begin returning your awareness to the room around you.
Feel the surface beneath your body.
Notice the air against your skin.
Hear the sounds around you.
Take a deep breath in.
And exhale slowly.
And again,
Breathing in renewal.
And breathing out gratitude.
Wiggle your fingers.
Wiggle your toes.
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Carry this cleansing with you.
Carry this softness with you.
Carry this quiet knowing with you.
You are allowed to release.
You are allowed to heal.
And you are allowed to begin again.
Namaste.
