Welcome dear ones to this beautiful restorative water journey.
It's a meditation of support,
Warmth and release.
So let's take a moment to arrive exactly as you are.
There is nothing to fix,
Nowhere to go.
This meditation meets you where your body already is.
And if it feels comfortable,
Allow your eyes to close.
Let your breath be natural,
No need to change it.
And so imagine now that you are near water.
It might be a warm pool,
A quiet lake or a gentle ocean water.
There is no right image,
Simply a feeling of being close to water.
And as you breathe in,
Sense coolness or warmth entering the body.
And as you breathe out,
Imagine tiny ripples spreading across the surface.
This water is safe,
This water knows how to hold you.
Imagine now the body being gently lowered into the water.
You are not sinking,
You are being supported.
The water holds your weight so you don't have to.
And feel how your legs are supported,
Your hips,
Your lower back,
Your shoulders,
Your head.
Nothing,
Nothing needs to be held up now.
If you have pain or swelling or heaviness anywhere,
Imagine the water cradling that area much more closely.
Like a soft pair of hands offering relief.
And each breath out allows the body to float a little more freely.
You may repeat quietly inside,
I am supported.
The water begins to feel warmer now,
Not hot,
Just deeply comforting.
And imagine that warmth spreading through muscles and joints,
Melting tightness without effort.
And above the water,
The air is softly steamy.
And each inhale opens the breath,
And each exhale releases the tension.
You don't need to do anything for this warmth to work,
It knows exactly where to go.
And if your mind wanders,
That's okay,
Just gently return to the sensation of warmth and ease.
Now imagine your body resting into warm,
Mineral-rich earth beneath the water.
Soft mud supports you from below.
And this earth draws out fatigue,
Inflammation and heaviness.
Anything the body no longer needs is gently absorbed downward.
You are not losing energy,
You are releasing what no longer serves.
And in its place,
The earth offers nourishment and steadiness.
You may quietly whisper inside,
I am held.
I am safe.
Water carries emotion with great kindness.
If there is sadness,
Fear or old worry in the body,
Imagine it dissolving into the water around you.
No stories,
No explanations,
Just movement,
Like waves washing the shoreline.
And tears,
If they come,
They are welcome here.
They're just simply another form of water returning home.
You don't need to rush this.
Let the waters do their quiet work.
Slowly now,
Imagine the water becoming still.
You are gently lifted back to the surface.
Warm air dries your skin naturally.
Your body feels softer.
Calmer.
A little lighter.
And notice that quiet pride of having allowed yourself to rest.
And before we close,
Place a hand on your heart space or anywhere in your body that feels it needs it and it's right.
And repeat softly or out loud,
I listened.
I rested.
I am proud of myself.
Take one final gentle breath in and out.
And when you are ready,
Slowly open your eyes and return to the space that you're in,
Carrying this beautiful softness with you wherever you go.
And may the waters continue to hold you even after this meditation's ends.
Bless you my dear souls.
Namaste.
