Hello,
This is Joanne,
And today we're going to do chanting the HU sound for spiritual and emotional alignment.
HU is a C syllable.
It activates the heart chakra and the crown chakra,
Which is why it is used for both spiritual and emotional alignment.
The heart chakra helps us with stabilizing our emotions,
And the crown chakra helps us with connecting to our higher dimensions and the cosmos.
So practicing HU will help align yourself with these chakras.
Some people pronounce the HU as HOO,
And some practitioners chant the HOO with the lips just barely touching,
And that creates a beautiful sound like a buzzing insect.
So I think today we'll sound the HU with a continued elongated exhale in order to attain an elevated consciousness and stabilize our emotional body by activating the heart and connecting to the spiritual essence.
So close your eyes and create an intention of connecting to the primal light and sound of the creator,
The divine,
However you define that.
And then with that intention of aligning your emotions and yourself to your spiritual self,
Use this sound.
So inhale into your belly,
And as you exhale,
Let the HOO be released on your breath.
Then inhale again fully and deeply into your belly,
And let your breath rise upward to your chest.
And now on your exhale,
Tone and sound gently,
Allowing yourself to be the instrument through which the sound of the divine expresses.
You don't have to be spiritual or religious to connect to this frequency,
Just know you are connecting to it,
The frequency of origins and the harmony of all things.
Allow the frequencies of that sound to then emerge.
So let's continue on for a few minutes with the chanting of HOO.
Twenty-one minutes is a good goal,
But you do it just for as long as you feel comfortable.
And while you're chanting,
Feel your vibrational rate increasing towards emotional stability and higher spiritual awareness.
Feel those powers flow through your body as you chant this primal and original sound.
Feel your soul as you make the sound.
Feel your spirit infusing your body with every exhale and inhale you make.
Feel connected and vibrant,
And feel the pulse of unconditional love.
You can carry on,
Or you can stop,
Whenever that feels comfortable.
And when you do finish your chanting,
Connect to your soul and that beautiful silence that follows the sound.
Breathe gently in through the nose and out through the nose as you allow your body to experience the vibration of soul.
And this period of silence after the chanting is vital to the full effect of the sound.
So I'll leave you now to enjoy that silence.
Namaste.
