Welcome,

My dear souls,

To this EFT tapping for emotional overwhelm.

Let's take a deep breath in,

Hold it for two at the top,

And then exhale for six.

Let's do that again,

In for four,

Hold for two,

And out for six.

Now bring three fingers of one hand to the underside of your other hand,

Which is called the karate chop.

Let's start tapping there,

And repeat silently with me,

Even though I feel emotionally overwhelmed,

Like there is too much inside me,

And not enough space to hold it all.

I honour how hard this has been,

And I choose to meet myself here with kindness and compassion.

Keep tapping there,

Even though my emotions feel heavy,

Tangled,

Or flooding,

And I don't know where to begin.

I deeply and lovingly accept myself exactly as I am in this moment.

And even though I am overwhelmed right now,

I acknowledge my sensitivity,

My depth,

My inner heart,

And I open to the possibility that it can be held and supported.

Now move to the eyebrows,

The inner eye.

This emotion,

Overwhelming,

I'm carrying,

All of this feeling inside me,

The weight of it,

The fullness of it,

The intensity of it.

Now to the side of the eye,

There is so much going on within me,

So many emotions at once,

So many layers,

So many sensations,

All happening together.

Under the eye,

My body feels flooded by emotion,

It feels heavy,

It feels tight,

It feels tender,

It feels overloaded.

Now under your nose,

I don't know where to begin with all of this,

I don't know what to release first,

I don't know how to untangle it.

I feel unsure,

I feel overwhelmed.

Now to your chin,

It feels like too much to hold,

Too much for my heart,

Too much for my body,

Too much for my nervous system,

Just too much right now.

And your collarbone,

My nervous system feels overwhelmed,

Stretched thin,

Overstimulated,

On high alert,

Longing to rest.

Under your arm,

I've been carrying so much emotionally for so long,

So quietly,

So deeply,

Without enough support.

Top of the head,

All of this emotional overwhelm,

Every feeling,

Every wave,

Every layer,

Right here,

Right now.

Just let these feelings be witnessed without fixing.

Now to your eyebrow again,

I'm allowed to feel overwhelmed,

It makes sense,

My feelings are valid,

I am not wrong for feeling this,

I'm human.

Now the side of the eyes,

There is a reason I feel this way,

I've been through a lot,

I've been holding a lot,

I've been adapting,

I've been doing my best.

Now under your eyes,

I don't need to push these feelings away,

I don't need to fight them,

I don't need to rush them,

I don't need to judge them,

I can let them be.

Under your nose,

I give myself permission to soften,

To slow down,

To breathe,

To loosen my grip,

To exhale.

Now on your chin,

I don't have to hold everything together,

I don't have to be strong right now,

I don't have to have the answers,

I don't have to cope perfectly,

I can rest.

Now the collarbone,

It's safe to create space inside me,

A little space,

Gentle space,

Breathing space,

Just enough space for now.

Under your arm,

I'm allowed to take this moment by moment,

Breath by breath,

Tap by tap,

Sensation by sensation,

Slowly.

In the top of your head,

I'm beginning to soften,

Just a little,

In my body,

In my heart,

In my nervous system.

Just put your hands on your heart for a minute,

Just noticing any easing,

Even if it's just 1%.

Now,

Back to the eyebrows,

I choose to support my nervous system now,

With presence,

With gentleness,

With patience,

With care.

On the side of the eye,

My body knows how to settle,

It remembers calm,

It remembers safety,

It remembers rest,

It remembers how to soothe.

Under the eye,

Allow the intensity to ease,

A little less pressure,

A little less weight,

A little less urgency,

A little more space.

Under your nose,

I can meet my emotions gently,

Without fear,

Without judgment,

Without urgency,

Without overwhelm.

Now to your chin,

I don't need to be afraid of my feelings,

They are information,

They are movement,

They are passing through,

They are not all of me.

Now to your collarbone,

I am supported in this moment,

By my breath,

By the earth beneath me,

By my own presence,

By something greater than me.

Now under your arm,

I am coming back into my body,

Feeling my feet,

Feeling my breath,

Feeling my weight,

Feeling howled.

And to the top of the head,

I am grounded,

Present and held,

Right here,

Right now,

In this body,

In this moment.

Now bring your hands down to your heart space,

And just whisper quietly,

I can feel deeply and still be safe.

I can soften without collapsing.

I can rest inside me.

I am held.

I am here.

And I am enough.

Blessings my dear souls.

Love and peace.

Namaste.

Namaste.
