Morning Meditation With Relaxation Breathing And Affirmation

This is a brief meditation, using relaxation, breathing, and affirmation to help set a positive intention to have a day of completion and to be open and receptive to all the good that can come to you now. I recommend that you revisit this practice every morning so as to become deeply aware of the meaning of the words of the affirmation and thus see it manifesting in your life. Be patient and keep on keeping on.

Good morning and welcome.

My name's Joanne.

Meditation in the morning is the most advantageous way to start the day.

So please sit upright,

Make sure your spine is elongated and we can prepare the way for the body to relax and to set the mind via an affirmation into a positive way of thinking.

Close your eyes and take a deep breath in.

Pause with that in-breath for a few moments and breathe out calmly and completely,

Allowing yourself to relax.

Relax regardless of any commitments or schedules that you may have ahead of you today.

This is a time to prepare for a very good day.

Please do that breath again,

A long inhalation and pause.

Breathing out,

A long slow breath and relax.

Relax and release any frowning or intensity from between the eyebrows and drop your shoulders.

Allow the lower jaw to relax.

Teeth are parted and the tongue softly spreads in your mouth.

One more long breath inhaling,

Feeling the pleasure of being able to breathe deeply and calmly.

There is enough time.

Pause.

Exhaling when you're ready and relax.

Relaxing deeply.

Now just allow the body to breathe naturally,

A comfortable breath rhythm.

Feel the stillness within as you continue to relax.

Again there is enough time.

When the body is relaxed and the mind is beginning to settle,

Let any restless thoughts that may enter feel that they just float on the gentle rhythm of your breath,

Allowing them to dissolve like tiny bubbles in a vast ocean.

This relaxed state of body and mind is the ideal environment to introduce an affirmation,

A resolve that sets your intention for the day ahead.

Now the best way to use an affirmation is to say it out loud and then a little quieter,

Then in a whisper and finally silently.

I'll guide you through that process.

So this is the affirmation.

I'll say it once and then please repeat after me.

Remember you're putting these words out to the universe,

To a concept of God that you are familiar with,

Or to a deity,

To your higher self.

So this is the affirmation.

Let thy will be done.

Today is a day of completion.

Thank you for this perfect day.

Miracle shall follow miracle and wonders will never cease.

So now please repeat after me.

Let thy will be done.

Thank you for this perfect day.

Today is a day of completion.

Thank you for this perfect day.

Miracle shall follow miracle and wonders will never cease.

A little bit softer now.

Let thy will be done.

Today is a day of completion.

Thank you for this perfect day.

Miracle shall follow miracle and wonders will never cease.

And now in a whisper.

Let thy will be done.

Thank you for this perfect day.

Today is a day of completion.

Miracle shall follow miracle and wonders will never cease.

And now repeat it mentally.

Let thy will be done.

Today is a day of completion.

Thank you for this perfect day.

Miracle shall follow miracle and wonders will never cease.

Please be still now and allow those words to really melt into your subconscious mind so that it is a day of completion and believe in the miracles that come.

Little ones,

Big ones,

Whatever ones that come.

Just give thanks and praise and enjoy every moment.

So I'll let you rest now for one minute.

This is important because the resting time after you have said your affirmation allows your body to really absorb the deeper meaning of each and every one of those words.

Be still now and stay relaxed and I'll call you back.

Coming back now.

Take a lovely long deep breath and smile a bit.

Stretch your arms up and out and stand and have another stretch if you like.

Have a wonderful day.

This meditation was wonderful. The affirmation was so perfect. I was actually looking for a way to leave my review of your reading of the man who planted trees because I'd listened last night and fell asleep but I woke at 2:30. Unfortunately I.T. only allows one to leave a review at the end of the FIRST listen. If one doesn't leave a review then, one is out of luck. One loses the opportunity . However, at 2:30 am, one just wants to go back to sleep, not wake up and write a review. 😢😢so I hit Play again. I know I'm not the only one who wakes more than once during the night and either wants to go back to sleep or listen again, or listen to the next offer but it's definitely not the time one wants to sit up and write a review. . I've asked insight timer to add a button where we can access the Review option and write reviews at any time, not just immediately after the first listen. THANK YOU JOANNE
