Good morning and welcome.

Meditation in the morning is the most advantageous way to start the day.
So please sit upright,
Make sure your spine is elongated and we can prepare the way for the body to relax and to set the mind via an affirmation into a positive way of thinking.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in.
Pause with that in-breath for a few moments and breathe out calmly and completely,
Allowing yourself to relax.
Relax regardless of any commitments or schedules that you may have ahead of you today.
This is a time to prepare for a very good day.
Please do that breath again,
A long inhalation and pause.
Breathing out,
A long slow breath and relax.
Relax and release any frowning or intensity from between the eyebrows and drop your shoulders.
Allow the lower jaw to relax.
Teeth are parted and the tongue softly spreads in your mouth.
One more long breath inhaling,
Feeling the pleasure of being able to breathe deeply and calmly.
There is enough time.
Pause.
Exhaling when you're ready and relax.
Relaxing deeply.
Now just allow the body to breathe naturally,
A comfortable breath rhythm.
Feel the stillness within as you continue to relax.
Again there is enough time.
When the body is relaxed and the mind is beginning to settle,
Let any restless thoughts that may enter feel that they just float on the gentle rhythm of your breath,
Allowing them to dissolve like tiny bubbles in a vast ocean.
This relaxed state of body and mind is the ideal environment to introduce an affirmation,
A resolve that sets your intention for the day ahead.
Now the best way to use an affirmation is to say it out loud and then a little quieter,
Then in a whisper and finally silently.
I'll guide you through that process.
So this is the affirmation.
I'll say it once and then please repeat after me.
Remember you're putting these words out to the universe,
To a concept of God that you are familiar with,
Or to a deity,
To your higher self.
So this is the affirmation.
Let thy will be done.
Today is a day of completion.
Thank you for this perfect day.
