Good morning.
We are here this morning to welcome this new glorious day.
Let's begin by finding a quiet spot.
Maybe you are still in bed even and either sit or lie down,
Settle in,
Get comfortable,
Roll your shoulders back and gently close your eyes.
Take a moment to connect with your breath and connect with your body and just observe how you are feeling.
Now take a deep breath in and allow it to go all the way out.
Take another deep breath in and then hold for a slight moment and then release the breath all the way out slowly all the way down your body and out through your feet.
And once again gently breathe in and gently let it go all the way out.
Allow your breath to become effortless and fluid,
Natural and comfortable as this breath nourishes,
Energizes and restores you.
Notice your body as it responds to your breathing.
Peaceful,
Gentle,
Easy.
Compassion towards self,
Non-judgment towards self.
Allow yourself to be present in this moment right now and just know that this is what your body and mind need to start your day with ease and with clarity and with positive energy.
With each inhalation you are taking in vibrancy and vitality.
And exhaling away any stagnant energy that does not serve you well.
Let us be thankful for this new glorious day.
This day that is full of opportunity and hope.
This is a brand new day and we get to choose what we will do with it.
May this day be filled with peace and with joy,
With contentment,
Full of good health and laughter,
With love,
With clarity and with hope.
Slowly bring your awareness back to your body and to your breath and to the space around you.
Gently move your feet and your toes,
Your hands,
Your fingers.
Gently move your head from side to side and take a nice stretch in your body if that feels good.
Take a slow and deep restorative breath and then fully exhale all the way out.
