Emptying out is a process of releasing energy that is not your own or that you have taken in as your own (conditioning). During this practice, you will be releasing energies that are not serving you any longer whether it be from a situation, circumstance or just from any given day. This is great to do before you go to sleep so that you can replenish and restore your body, mind and energy so that you get restful sleep and feel more like, YOU.

Transcript

Let's start by finding a comfortable space where you can lay down.

To feel your entire back body supported so that you can surrender and let go.

Take a deep breath in and exhale out.

Exhale with every breath in,

You're expanding,

With every breath out,

You're softening,

You're melting,

You're surrendering deeper and deeper and deeper.

As you're softening and allowing yourself to let go,

Maybe you notice there's spaces and places in your body that feel tight or tense.

You feel stress,

Anxiety,

Fear,

Any emotions that are not serving you.

Bring awareness to these spaces and places in the body and the mind.

Maybe you notice as you bring awareness to these parts of you,

There's something else that arises that reveals to you.

If there's pain in the body,

Maybe there's an emotional element that's revealing to you that you've created a block or a feeling that's not true,

That you've created this hold,

This tension.

As you allow these feelings and sensations to be revealed with every breath out,

I want you to release them.

Breathing it out,

Using the breath to sweep out anything in the physical body,

Anything in the mental body,

Emotional body,

Energetic body.

It's being pulled out,

Melting away,

Releasing from your being.

You are able to unlock that and release it,

Emptying out any energy that's not your own,

Any thoughts,

Ideas,

Sensations that you've taken on from someone else.

Let all of it be swept out with the element of air and wind,

Utilizing your breath to clear and release this space.

Releasing the day,

Releasing any energies that are toxic,

That are not serving you any longer.

Let them go.

Let them out.

Releasing out this vessel of yours,

Clearing the path,

Clearing your space,

Clearing your space,

Letting it all go.

Let it go.

Feeling lighter,

More clear in the body and the mind,

Your energetic being.

Now I want you to call back any energy that you've scattered from your day,

From your week,

From the past hour,

Calling all this energy back in to your being,

Filling you up,

Replacing your worthiness,

Your trust,

Your creativity,

Your truth,

Your peace,

Your strength,

Your power,

Your clarity and wisdom and voice.

Feel yourself restoring.

You are balanced within your physical body,

Your emotional body,

Your mental body,

Your energetic body,

Feeling whole,

Happy and healthy.
