Hey friends,
Welcome back to another JBACs meditation.
This meditation is a body scan and affirmation meditation to get our thoughts,
Mind,
Body,
And soul ready for the day.
In this meditation,
We will express gratitude for ourselves,
Share a space with ourselves to expand our minds,
To work our bodies,
To acknowledge that we are all unique individuals and with these unique qualities,
We bring in energy.
So find yourself in a comfortable seat with your feet on the ground or legs in Lotus position.
Pull your shoulders up and back and elongate your spine.
And if you haven't already,
Close your eyes.
Let's take three deep breaths,
Inhaling positive energy and exhaling any stale air inside.
Inhale energy and exhale any fatigue.
On our last inhale,
Breathing gratitude for where you are today.
And exhale any thoughts that may not serve you today.
Continue your conscious breath as we begin a body scan.
I encourage you to follow along with this body scan using your hands on each part of your body I lead us to.
Placing your hands at the top of your head,
Let us focus on the crown where our thoughts begin.
Take this opportunity to continue to breathe out any thoughts that may be cloudy or causing a fog.
Release them out as you do not need to hold on to internal words that cause you a low vibration.
And from your crown,
Tracing your fingers down to your temples,
Even with your eyes,
The eyes that see so much beauty when they are open and even behind closed lids.
Release the tension from your temples.
Clear up the space for intuition to flow in.
As our hands move down to our neck and our throat,
Feeling the air move in and out as we take an inhale and release our exhale.
You have incredible words that you have shared and that you will share in the future.
Moving your hands to your heart space where we have so much love to give and receive.
Feel as your hands embrace your heart,
Connecting in such a beautiful way.
Now our hands move to our stomach where we feel our breath as our stomachs rise and fall,
Leading our hands down to our hips and our thighs,
Acknowledging any tension that may be in this area,
Any tightness you may feel,
Recognizing,
Acknowledging in a judgment-free space.
As we move down to our knees and potentially our feet,
Depending on how you're seated,
Express internal gratitude for the path that you will walk in the days to come.
As we complete this body scan,
Allow for your hands to find a place on your body that may need the most support today or that felt comforted while your hands lie there.
Whether it be your crown,
Throat,
Heart,
Hips,
Find your hands there.
Continuing with your breath,
Inhale,
Exhale.
Let us clear our mind for I am affirmations that we will share together.
I belong here.
I am accepted.
I am unique.
I am important.
I am valued.
I am courageous.
I am confident.
I share myself with others and know that I am received as I am.
As you receive these affirmations,
Affirm them to be true as they are to you.
Let's take one last inhale together.
Breathing in gratitude and exhale incredible energy into your space.
As you come back from this meditative space,
Slowly blink your eyes open,
Roll out your shoulders,
Wiggle your fingers and your toes and smile.
You are safe with yourself.
