Take a deep breath in and let it out slowly through pursed lips.
Again,
Fully inhale and let it out slowly.
One last time,
Take a big breath in and a long,
Slow exhale.
Now begin to notice the parts of your body that are resting on the surface beneath you.
Whether you're sitting or lying down,
Notice what parts of your body are contacting the ground,
Your chair,
Your bed,
Your floor.
Notice what parts of your body feel the most still right now.
And see if you can lean into the stillness so that the rest of your body has a desire to also become still,
Relaxed,
And focused.
Begin to imagine that just above the crown of your head,
There is an orb of swirling gold light.
And sense that you have the power to control the flow and movement of this light.
For now,
Use the power of your mind to just let this orb hover above you.
And in your mind's eye,
See the swirling,
The pulsing,
The sparkling of this light.
Feel how it is so close to the top of your head that you can almost feel it buzzing there like static electricity.
Now guide the light to settle down onto the top of your head.
And as it grazes the top of your head,
As it first makes contact,
See this orb spill open.
No longer a ball,
But able to conform to the shape of your head.
Covering your scalp from front to back and side to side with its calming presence.
Sense the light flow down your forehead,
Your temples,
Your cheeks,
Your jaw.
Softening,
Relaxing,
And melting away any tension,
Wherever the light touches.
Watch as the light flows down the sides and the back of your neck,
Your throat.
And remember that it is the power of your mind that controls the movement,
The pace of this light.
You can send it wherever you need it.
Watch as the light hugs the tops of your shoulders,
Letting them settle down and away from your ears.
Feel the light fan out to envelop your arms,
Down to your hands and fingers.
Let it roll down your torso,
Covering your back,
Your sides,
Your chest,
And your belly.
Your belly becoming softer and more relaxed.
Let the light ease into your hip sockets.
Let it cover your pelvis from front to back.
See it ease down into your thighs,
Your knees,
Your lower legs.
Watch it pull into your feet,
Covering the tops of your feet,
Your heels,
Your arches,
The balls of your feet,
All the way down to your toes.
Notice how this light not only relaxes everywhere on your body that it touches,
But sense that it has the power to draw out of your body tension and negative energy.
As if it is pulling out any negativity through the soles of your feet.
Witness how relaxed your arms and your legs feel right now.
How heavy your head is.
How deeply your eyes want to drop down into their sockets.
From this relaxed state of your body,
Your mind is now prepared to concentrate even more deeply.
Now sense that this light that has covered and relaxed your body from head to toe,
That has drained out the bottoms of your feet,
Is ready to be reformed into an orb.
And you have the power to do that.
Begin to call the light back together into a ball and let this swirling ball of light hover just in front of your third eye.
The space between your eyebrows.
Hold it there with the power of your focus.
Notice its movement.
Is it swirling or pulsing?
Are there different shades of gold within this moving ball of light?
Focus your entire mind with all of your energy on this swirling ball of light just in front of your forehead.
And as long as you continue to focus on this light,
It will remain right here.
Hovering in mid-air just in front of your face.
Continue to breathe smoothly and deeply and keep all of your muscles relaxed.
Now before you break your concentration,
Use your mind's power to shift this orb of light back above the crown of your head where it started.
Hovering there just above your scalp.
And then finally push this orb of light higher and higher,
Farther and farther away from your body until you can no longer see the light.
It rises higher and higher to be reabsorbed back into the energy of the universe.
Nothing to do now but rest in peaceful awareness.
Take a deep breath in and a long slow sigh out.
There's no need to move just yet.
Simply witness the tips of your toes.
Sense the tips of your fingers and the top of your head.
Feel any sensations or buzzing or energy present in your body.
And when you're ready,
Begin to wiggle your toes and your fingers.
Blink your eyelids open.
Bring yourself upright if you're lying down.
And let's take three energizing breaths.
Inhale through your nose.
Exhale through your nose.
Two more.
Sitting up nice and tall,
Breathe in deep.
Let it go with control.
Last one.
Fill up.
Taking in all the new fresh energy you need.
And exhale it all out.
