In this guided meditation we use the breath to place our awareness into the present moment. You will be guided to focus your awareness and breath into different places within the body. Moving into a state of peace and sensing the awareness and energy that is present.
I invite you to close your eyes and take a nice slow deep breath and just bring all your awareness into this present moment letting your to-do list be set aside for just a few moments allowing yourself to take this time for you begin to increase the length of your inhale and exhale softening your belly with each inhale and relaxing more into the present moment with each exhale beginning to find peace with your breath bringing your awareness to your heart and imagine inhaling through your heart space and as you inhale the heart expands and you continue to relax deeper with each exhale witnessing the breath as it comes in through your nose while seeing your heart expand what is the sensation of the air coming in through your nose can you follow the air down into your lungs and back out can you sense the air in your lungs dropping your awareness down into your pelvis to the base of your tailbone breathing into this space imagine inhaling air into the base of your tailbone and exhaling and relaxing deeper into your seat bringing your awareness to your entire body can you sense how your body is feeling in this moment can you sense the energy that surrounds your body what is the quality of the energy around you does it feel light and airy or bubbly does it have a color can you maintain awareness of your entire body all at once if the mind starts to wander just bring it back you can bring it back to your heart space you can use the heart or your body as the anchor for your awareness sensing the state of peace you feel at right now does it feel differently than when you began this meditation continue to maintain your awareness of your whole body or of your heart space just observing who is the one that is observing what is the awareness that's present where is this awareness or where is the one that is observing bringing your breath and your awareness back into your heart inhaling into the heart space letting go and on your next inhale inhale gratitude for yourself for taking time for yourself just sitting with this gratitude for yourself right now honoring yourself I see you and I thank you for showing up today you can set an intention how do you want to move forward from this space who do you want to be the rest of the day how does that person interact in the world thank you for this time for this practice when you feel ready you can come back into this space and gently flutter your eyes open and I wish you happiness and peace the rest of your day
