This meditation will be about gratitude and when you feel ready,

I invite you to close your eyes and bring your awareness into your body,

Letting all your worries go for another time,

Allowing your hands to be in an easy and relaxed position and just noticing your body and if there's any areas of tension that you can let go of just a little bit more and begin to become aware of your breath and we're going to begin taking nice long slow deep breaths and we'll inhale for the count of four and exhale for a count of four.

So let all of your air out and then slowly inhale one two three four and exhale one two three four inhale one two three four exhale one two three four inhale one two three four exhale one two three four and you can let go of that and allow the breath to resume a natural pattern bring your awareness to the base of your tailbone to your root chakra and imagine a strong tree trunk extends from the base of your tailbone into the earth and you're connected to the earth by this beautiful tree trunk that's strong and wide and then the tree trunk descends into the earth and it goes deeper and deeper down through all the layers of the earth down down all the way into the core of the earth where your tree trunk roots you deeply into the earth you can see the roots moving into the core of the earth connecting with the energy here let's have a moment of gratitude for the earth for everything she gives to us thank you to the earth for providing us water to drink from and sustain our life thank you for all the materials you give us so we may have homes and cars and clothes the earth is magnificent she grows all of our food to nourish us and on your next inhale bring the earth's energy up through the roots of the tree trunk back up all the way into your tailbone up into your body and now bring your awareness into your heart center see if you can sense your heart beating who are people that you are grateful for in your life who do you love and appreciate maybe some of these beings have passed on to feel the appreciation and gratitude for these beings what things are you grateful for i'm grateful for my bed for having hot water what else are you grateful for if you're able to keep naming things that you are grateful for now have a moment of gratitude for yourself appreciating this beautiful body that we're living in appreciating your feet for carrying you everywhere you want to go for connecting you to the earth appreciation for your legs for holding you upright for moving you place to place for their strength for all of our organs and our body functioning properly so our bodies can maintain homeostasis for our heart for pumping all the blood without our conscious control and our lungs breathing for us for our arms and hands and all of the dexterity we're able to do with our hands and fingers and fingers for our brains working properly allowing us to think and dream for our skin for protecting us to be able to use our senses smell taste touch feel feel that these senses improve our living conditions on this planet making our experiences richer just revel in the gratitude and appreciation for yourself and your body for your spirit for choosing to incarnate at this time bring your awareness back to your breath and breathe in and out of the heart so as you breathe in you feel the heart expanding and when you breathe out you let it go inhaling gratitude and love for yourself inhaling love for yourself filling up your own cup so that you can give to others and consider what do you want your intention for today how do you want to go forward from this place how do you want to show up in the world today what emotions are you going to choose to have maybe you'll have more compassion or kindness towards others see yourself surrounded in a golden white ball of light big enough that your entire body fits in it easily and there's some extra room around you knowing that the divine light is always guiding you and protecting you may you go with peace and grace and blessings today
