I'm Jeff Bosworth,
Seeking to bring a more positive and peaceful world to each individual.
There is no need to absorb anything.
Your subconscious will take moments of enlightenment and remember them.
Yes,
Remember them.
Sometimes that's simply all it takes to manifest a better life,
To identify a moment of clarity,
And act upon it,
Not let it slip away.
I have written many songs over the years that have chronicled my journey.
At times I would place the same phrase over and over to drive the point home to me,
To acknowledge what I was saying,
Quite simply,
To remember.
To remember that the definition of insanity was making the same bad decisions and expecting different results.
I am glowing in the optimism that you take at least one thing from these affirmations and come back to gain more wondrous benefits,
Like I have gratefully received from the many teachers on Insight Timer on our shared journey to simply be better.
Find yourself in a comfortable position,
A position that will help bring relaxation and help you shed off the weight of the day,
Leave the day behind you as you fall into a restful state of peace and comfort.
Notice the softness of your bed,
Wiggle around and settle in to your cozy bed,
Adjusting your pillow,
Blanket,
Or sheet to ensure you are warm,
Comfortable,
And cozy.
Begin by taking a short quick breath through your nose and hold at the top before you exhale.
Now exhale slowly through pursed lips like blowing up a balloon or blowing through a straw and exhale any tension of the day.
Again,
Take another quick deep breath of fresh new air into your lungs and into your belly,
Hold again,
Exhale releasing worry from the day.
Once more,
Take another short deep breath and slowly release into complete stillness and relaxation.
Now come back to your regular breath and relax.
Relax and gently release your thoughts and if thoughts arise as they will,
Simply return to your own breath,
Acknowledge them and let them go,
Let go,
Let go of and drift into harmonious slumber,
Ease yourself into peaceful stillness.
At this moment,
Invite relaxation to enter into the top of your head,
Around the crown,
The forehead,
Relax your eyes and you can close them as they become heavy and relaxed.
Relax the cheeks,
The temples,
Ears,
Nose,
Mouth,
And chin.
Relax your jaw,
A calm soothing relaxation that increases with every breath,
Each natural breath.
Now,
Welcome the deep relaxation into your neck,
Shoulders,
Down the arms,
Elbows,
Wrists,
Soothing the hands down to the tips of your fingers and thumbs,
Softening with each breath,
Your chest,
Stomach,
Your whole back,
From the top of your spine to your tailbone,
Gently filling with tranquil relaxation.
Carry this feeling of peace into your midsection,
Down the legs,
The knees,
Soothing the calves,
Ankles,
And feet,
Down to the tips of your toes,
Let your whole body relax.
Lie here,
Feeling your own natural breath,
And welcome restful sleep.
Tonight,
You will sleep soundly,
Although your subconscious will take in these beneficial affirmations.
Abundance I seek enlightenment.
I am grateful for the people I have in my life.
I show gratitude to the people in my life.
Abundance is not just a monetary concept,
It is an overall quality of life.
I make better food choices to nourish my body.
I will release negative thoughts.

I will journal or create lists that help me achieve my goals.

Gossip is harmful and hurtful,
I choose to do no harm.
I think before speaking harmful words.
I get enough sleep and sleep comfortably.

Reaching even the smallest goals give me satisfaction.
If I'm having a bad day,
I can reset and start fresh again.
