Hi,
This is Sharon Bosworth,
Teaching folks how to find a patch of calm in this crazy world.
As I was waiting for my daughter the other day in a busy store,
I observed how many people around me seemed to be focused on the downside of things.
I found the surprise on the cashier's face when my daughter smiled and told her to have a nice day a little dispiriting.
On the way home,
I remembered an inspiration I had once read.
Train your heart to smile and your soul to sing,
Then you will find blessings in each and everything.
So I began to think,
What if?
What if we could retrain everyone to refocus on positivity?
So I began to collect some of my most positive affirmations that I use quite often.
And here they are.
Are you ready?
Because the secret to accomplishments is to begin.
As I say these affirmations,
Please repeat them out loud or in your mind.
Add motions or sit still.
The objective is to do what makes you feel good.
Here we go.
One small positive thought in the morning can change my whole day.
I will find good in all things.
I will turn negative thoughts into positive ones.
Life is a gift.
I will do something kind for a stranger today.
I got this.
I am happy to be me.
I will smile today.
Happiness is a choice and I choose to be happy.
Positive thinking is powerful.
I will not worry about tomorrow and focus only on today.
I will let go of things I cannot control.
The perfect moment is this one.
I will let go of negative memories because the past does not determine my future.
Looking on the bright side never hurt anyone.
I will respond to negative people with a smile.
I will laugh today.
I am grateful for everything in my life.
I have the power to make the right choices for me.
I am capable of solving all my problems.
My life is about to be incredible.
The answer to am I enough is yes,
I am.
Now go enjoy your positive day.
Spread your contagious smile.
Join me again if you need a little reminder or a little retraining.
Today I am giving you permission to go out and root for yourself.
And while you're at it,
Root for those around you too.
Namaste.
