This is Sharon Bosworth,
Teaching folks how to find a patch of calm in this crazy world.
Please join me today for a bit of peace and calm.
I understand that you have a busy life,
Yet it is known that if you take time for yourself,
You will go through your day so much easier.
Perhaps even with a smile.
Let's begin by taking deep breaths,
In through your nose and out through your mouth.
Draw the air in enough that you feel as if your lungs are pressing against your ribs.
Then release slowly and completely through your lips as if you're blowing out a candle.
Close your eyes if you're able,
And let's begin.
You can return to your normal breathing.
Let's think of a relaxing place.
Perhaps the birds are singing in the background.
The sun is shining on your face or poking through the leaves of a big shade tree.
You hear gentle flowing water that's spilling over pebbles in a stream.
The breeze rustles through the leaves of the trees.
Enjoy the calm and peaceful place you've created while reflecting on these affirmations.
Today is a good day to have a great day.
Today is a good day to smile more.
Today is a good day to worry less.
Today is a good day to be the very best version of yourself.
Today is a good day to do more of what makes you happy.
Today is a good day to be positive.
Today is a good day to let go,
Leaving the past in the past.
Today is a good day to work hard,
Giving your very best.
And today is a good day to be humble.
I know that not every day is great,
But you can find something good in every day.
Laugh,
Love,
Live.
Believe in yourself and don't forget how awesome you are.
