Experience deep healing tonight as mind,
Body and spirit return to their wholeness as you come home to well-being.
This is your moment to turn down the noise of the outside world and to tend gently to what's within.
Your well-being is worth it,
So give yourself full permission to be here.
My name is Jason Stevenson and it's an honour to guide you through this transformative practice.
However you're showing up tonight,
You are more than welcome here.
Deeper layers of well-being will become known to you as you have the opportunity to bathe in a crystal tub at dusk,
Surrounded by snow-kissed mountains and ancient pines.
Whatever worries or ruminations you might be carrying with you,
It is possible to be free from them,
But there's no need to force it,
We'll take it one breath at a time until you find the ease you seek.
So,
As you settle into a comfortable resting position,
Somewhere you can drift off to sleep when the time comes,
Take a few slow cleansing breaths,
In through your nose and out through your mouth,
Allow your body to expand slowly and gently with each inhale and to melt with each exhale.
With each breath,
Your mind centres itself and your body relaxes,
Reconnecting with this present moment,
Allow your breath to flow naturally as you draw your attention to the crown of your head,
And allow the muscles in your forehead,
Around your eyes and temples to soften,
Invite your head to release any stories it's holding about the day behind you and any assumptions about the days to come,
Guiding your whole head to soften into the pillow supporting it,
Your jaw unclenches and your tongue softens in your mouth,
And then invite this grounding,
Releasing energy to flow through your neck and across your shoulders,
Giving your shoulders full permission to release any weight that they bear,
If it feels supportive for you,
You might even take a moment to actively squeeze your shoulders up towards your ears,
Holding that tension for just a few seconds,
And then actively releasing the contraction completely,
Noticing what it feels like to let go,
Your shoulders melt into the support of the mattress beneath you,
Before a slow moving current of relaxed awareness travels down your arms,
Your upper arms relax completely,
Your elbows are softened and soothed,
Your forearms surrender to what's beneath them,
And your wrists are invited to melt too,
As your attention lands in your palms,
You might take a moment here to deepen the release by first clenching your fists and noticing the sensations of holding your fists tightly and firmly,
Before letting go of this grip completely,
Allow your fingers to melt away from one another,
As you release your need to hold,
Cling and control,
From shoulders to fingertips,
Your arms are deeply,
Deeply relaxed,
There's nothing they need to fix or hold onto here,
Now become aware of your heart and your lungs,
Feeling again the natural rise and fall of your chest with each breath,
And as you breathe,
You might start to notice a crisp alpine air flowing through your lungs,
Infused with pine and cedar wood,
Allow this fresh restorative scent to nourish your body and mind as you inhale and to help you untangle as you exhale,
Imagine your breath flowing down your spine now,
Sinking down into your belly and all the way to your tailbone,
Let your core muscles relax,
Stretching gently as your stomach expands on the inhale,
Softening as the stomach contracts on the exhale,
Allow your entire abdomen to soften,
Surrendering tension or tightness into the mattress beneath you,
And if it feels comfortable,
Spend a little while longer with focused loving attention on your pelvic bowl and hips,
Give these areas full permission to melt into your bed,
Or you can continue to soften through your belly,
Following its rise and fall with each breath cycle,
If strong emotions arise as you bear witness to your body,
Know that it's entirely natural,
Our hips in particular are said to store tension and unprocessed emotions,
So tend to these areas with care and kindness,
Tend to your whole body with care and kindness,
And if anything feels like too much to be present with,
Shift your attention to what grounds you,
Be that your breath,
The pillow beneath your head or another part of your body,
If it feels right,
You might rest one or both hands on your lower abdomen offering warm compassionate presence,
And silently repeat to affirm for yourself,
It's safe to soften here,
This is my time to rest and renew,
Let your hands rest where they feel comfortable,
Then allow your attention to flow into your quads and hamstrings,
Guide these muscles to soften with an exhale,
Releasing all effort and striving,
Tend to the joints of your knees with care and kindness,
Then to your lower legs,
Melting through your calves,
Offer a gentle loving breath to your ankles,
Then allow your awareness to pool in your feet,
Guiding them to let go completely,
From hips to toes,
You are letting go,
Melting into the ease and quietude of this moment,
Melting deeper and deeper into a place of stillness,
As you focus on your feet in this quiet inner state,
Begin to imagine a hardwood floor stretches out beneath them,
The chestnut planks are worn and smooth,
Heavy and solid,
You wiggle your toes,
Noticing that they're wrapped in soft slippers,
And slowly,
You lift your gaze from the floor and marvel at where you've arrived,
Your eyes meet a room that's some kind of sanctuary,
With stone walls and walnut rafters,
Glowing lanterns hang from the ancient beams and the air is infused with pine and cedar wood,
Your body is wrapped in a plush robe,
A four-poster bed with fresh white linens and a heavy duvet sits against the wall to your left,
And across from it,
A small wood-burning fireplace glows brightly,
But what captures your attention most is the expansive arched doorway on the far side of the room,
It is made of heavy glass,
And through it,
You can catch sight of the winter wonderland beyond,
A snow-covered mountain range and towering pines,
Covered in shimmering white snow,
The sun is beginning to set,
Casting a blanket of rose gold across the treetops,
Take a slow steady breath deep into your belly,
Anchoring through your feet,
Then exhale a sigh of release,
You are safe and supported here,
This is your very own inner sanctuary,
You make your way to the enchanted glass doorway,
Curious about what else is on the other side,
As you arrive,
The door opens to a panoramic outdoor terrace,
Carved into the mountain itself,
And there in front of you,
Overlooking the ethereal view,
Is a hot tub unlike any you've seen before,
The circular tub is made of pure amethyst,
With warm healing waters that glow in lilac pink,
Glistening steam spirals up from its surface,
Candles line the pathway that leads to the tub,
Which is surrounded by a thin blanket of crisp white snow,
Take a moment as you enter the terrace now to breathe the alpine air,
Let your belly expand completely,
Shoulders relaxing as you exhale,
Now you make your way to the edge of the tub,
A small wooden bench sits just next to it,
A place for you to leave your robe,
Slippers and any other belongings you may have with you,
There's nothing you need to bring to the waters but yourself,
When you're ready,
You prepare to enter the mystical healing tub,
Taking the amethyst stairs that dip down into it,
Notice the way your body feels as you enter the water,
Feel it brush against your skin,
Its warmth permeating your entire cellular matrix,
You sit comfortably in the tub,
The water rising to your collarbone or to whatever part of your body feels most comfortable,
Your whole body softens as you settle in,
Surrounded by a soft pink lilac glow that enchants and restores,
The crystal tub is here to serve you,
To offer deep renewal to all levels of your being,
It is infused with energy of amethyst,
Supportive of sleep,
Stress relief,
Intuition and detoxification,
Amethyst is a crystal that elevates us to a higher state of being,
But before you attune to the way it's here to support you,
You notice that on the ledge of the pool there's a selection of healing salts,
Three wooden bowls contain different salt infusions,
The first is a blend of rose and pink Himalayan salt,
It is a soft blush hue created by ancient minerals and petals of compassion,
This salt offers the gift of radical tenderness,
Of gentleness and patience,
Now the second bowl holds a soothing blend of lavender and chamomile salt,
It invites a deep rest into your muscles,
Stillness in your mind and safety into your nervous system,
And finally the third bowl carries an invigorating blend of eucalyptus and peppermint salt,
It is cool and clearing and awakening like the mountain air surrounding you,
This salt offers release and renewal,
Refreshing the senses and helping your body reset itself,
Take your time to explore each salt,
Lifting the bowls to your nose,
One at a time,
Welcome the gentle aroma of rose to fill your nostrils,
Then lavender and chamomile,
And finally eucalyptus and peppermint,
And as you soak here in this crystal tub,
Use these scrubs to help you unwind and to help your body be restored,
You can use just one of these salts or a mix of them,
But take your time now to imagine yourself rubbing your chosen infusions into your skin,
Absorbing the healing properties,
There is no right or wrong way to imagine this and you can take your time with it,
Breathe slowly and gently as you admire the wintry view beyond the tub,
Give yourself full permission to savour the moment.
As these healing salts meet your skin,
Their properties sink into your cells,
Your body receives the gifts of compassion and tenderness if you have chosen rose,
Peace and ease from lavender and chamomile,
Or gentle reawakening from peppermint and eucalyptus.
Take a few more quiet moments to use any salt you haven't yet if there's another one that speaks to you,
You finish scrubbing your body,
Through the salt which has dissolved into the warm glowing water will continue to share its blessings with you,
But now,
Take a moment to scan your body gently from the crown of your head to the tips of your toes,
And as you do,
Look out for any places that could use the extra power of amethyst to rest,
Restore and renew.
Whatever part of the body pulls your attention the most,
Let your awareness rest there for a short while,
Envision the amethyst frequency in the water,
Slowly gathering around this place.
Wrapped in the gentle lilac pink light of the crystal,
Imagine this area beginning to transform,
To rest,
Restore and renew.
You don't need to force anything to change,
Simply allow this healing presence to meet whatever is there,
Be that tension,
Emotion,
Even numbness or some other sensation,
Nothing needs to be pushed away,
Just heal.
Held,
Witnessed and blessed with love and care,
Notice where your breath is and see if you can let it soften,
Relax your jaw and belly as you breathe,
Tension melting into the warm,
Cleansing water.
Gently,
Your awareness shifts for a few moments from your body to the world around you,
Your eyes drift across the snow-covered pines,
The raw and rugged mountains in the distance,
And the darkening sky.
The sun has set and the sky glows in lavender light,
Mirroring the hollowed out amethyst that now supports you.
Notice how peaceful this place is,
Notice how still and quiet it is,
And notice how your cellular body is slowly attuning to its tranquil frequency.
Now your attention shifts to your heart,
To your emotional body,
Imagine yourself resting your palms on your heart center,
Taking a few slow and steady breaths.
Inhaling,
Your heart expands,
Body filling with fresh,
Alpine air,
Exhaling,
Your heart softens,
Beginning to surrender whatever holds it back from peace and ease.
Stay with your heart for a little while longer,
Perhaps silently asking yourself,
What is my heart ready to release,
Even if just for tonight?
What healing is my heart ready and willing to receive?
Inner whispers might rise as you sit with these questions,
Or you might simply feel a special energy surrounding your heart.
It might be a pink-violet glow that hugs and holds your heart,
Or it might feel like a weight is being released,
That care and kindness is returning.
Allow this clearing process to happen gently and organically,
Holding whatever you're experiencing now with care and patience.
And if strong emotions rise,
Allow the water,
Trees and the mountains to hold them,
Let this landscape bear loving witness to your feelings,
You are safe,
Loved and supported here.
If anything comes up that feels dysregulating,
Ground your attention in something that settles you,
Perhaps it's in your breath,
The feeling of your bed,
Or a special visual in your mind's eye.
Trust that your heart is healing,
It is remembering its wholeness.
Come back to your breath now,
Feeling a steady,
Supportive rhythm.
Feel your heart gently expanding as you inhale,
Chest melting on the exhale.
Envision yourself gliding your hands back and forth through the warm,
Healing water,
Feel how fluid and flowing it is.
Notice how it easily moves around you,
Never resisting,
Never rushing,
Only ever responding calmly to the present moment.
As your hands move through the water,
Imagine this same depth of ease moving through your heart and your whole inner world.
Your breath is becoming smoother,
Your thoughts are becoming softer,
And your heart is holding whatever moves through it gently,
With patience and trust.
Let the water remind you of your own natural rhythm,
And of your ability to also be in a state of flow.
Your body knows how to move,
How to release,
And how to restore itself when given the space to do so.
Now turn your attention to your mind,
Noticing any limiting or recurring thoughts that might be passing through it.
You might quietly ask,
What stories do I hold that keep me from well-being?
What thoughts do I carry that mask the peace already within me?
You might notice negative,
Limiting or worried thoughts bubbling up to the surface,
And if you do,
Envision the healing steam rising up to absorb them.
Watch the amethyst-infused steam spiral up into the night sky,
Carrying away anything remaining that does not serve you.
To deepen the cleansing power of this moment,
You might also imagine cupping some of the healing water in your hands and pouring it over your head.
Or you might dip your head under the surface to be submerged completely for a few moments,
Whatever feels most supportive and comfortable for you.
As you let the water clear away any remaining tension,
Stress or negativity,
Silently repeat,
I am open to the healing powers around me.
I am open to the healing powers within me.
When this negative process feels complete,
When your thoughts have slowed right down,
And all negativity or worry has been carried into the cosmos,
Let yourself marvel again at the world around you.
As the night sky grows darker,
The water glows brighter.
Fuchsia light surrounds you and dances up into the air with the rising steam.
The sky is a deep mulberry tone,
And thousands of stars have begun to appear.
A half-moon rises slowly,
Casting silver light across the snow-kissed land.
The air carries the pine and cedarwood scent from the wood-burning fire inside,
Mixed with a faint trace of the herbal salts in the water.
And everything is quiet,
Deeply,
Deeply quiet.
All around and within you,
The world is at peace.
Savor the peace and tranquility of this enchanted,
Serene space.
You are growing tired now,
Ready to retreat for the coming night.
Slowly and gently,
You take the amethyst steps up from the tub,
Wrapping your body and feet in your robe and slippers.
Deep relaxation pervades your muscles,
And you move as light as a feather back inside.
You close the large glass door to the terrace,
Marveling one last time at the breathtaking landscape beyond.
Then,
When you're ready,
You climb into the four-poster bed,
Snuggling in beneath the heavy,
Fresh duvet.
Your head melts into a soft but supportive pillow,
And you release a deep sigh of surrender.
The fire is still aglow,
Adding warmth to the room in this tranquil winter's night.
Take a few moments to watch the way the flames dance,
Before naturally,
Gently,
Letting your eyes close.
All visuals disappear as you sink into the feeling of this warm,
Comfortable bed.
Your head and any remaining thoughts unravel into the pillow.
Your forehead softens,
Your jaw relaxes,
Tongue melting away from the roof of your mouth.
Your shoulders surrender,
Falling a little further from your ears,
And your arms soften entirely,
All the way down to your fingertips.
Your heart,
Chest,
And breath relax naturally,
Grateful for the peace of this present moment holding them.
Then,
Inch by inch,
Your spine and nervous system rest even deeper,
Ready to release this day completely.
Draw your attention to your belly,
Allowing it to move freely,
Expanding gently as you inhale,
And softening as you exhale.
And observe as this relaxation settles into your pelvis area,
Tailbone melting into the mattress.
Then inch by inch,
Your legs surrender to your toes,
In full awareness that there is nowhere they need to take you.
There's nothing you need to do now.
Your whole body surrenders,
Softens,
Melts into the peace all around and inside of you.
Deep sleep is on its way,
A slumber that will continue this gentle process of renewal.
You don't need to make it happen,
Sleep will take care of it.
So allow yourself to drift off,
Without force or resistance,
And as you make that natural transition,
Let the following affirmations flow through you.
While you drift,
They will work their magic on your subconscious mind,
Cultivating more of the well-being you seek.
And until next time,
Goodnight my friend,
Goodnight.
I am open to receiving healing breath by breath.
It is safe to soften,
It is safe to release.
The wisdom of my body knows how to restore itself.
I am already whole,
Just as I am.
I have the power to transform within me.
This loving universe supports my healing.
I give myself permission to rest,
Here,
In this moment.
With every breath,
I return to my centre.
With every breath,
I am restored and refreshed.
I hold myself with care,
No matter what I am experiencing.
I am patient and loving on this journey to greater well-being.
Inner peace lives within me,
And I am attuned to it.
My cellular body is restoring itself at every moment.
My thoughts flow with ease,
Coming and going gently.
My heart is healing with grace,
Tenderness and care.
I surrender what does not serve me,
In the name of my highest potential.
I treat my body as the sacred vessel it is.
My body renews as I rest,
Without force or effort.
At any moment,
I have the power to choose peace.
This moment offers all I need,
And within it,
I am whole.
