Letting go of the past is a conscious decision not to be taken lightly. The action of letting go is not only important to release a feeling that is holding you back from moving forward in life but also supportive of a healthy emotional and physical life. Take a moment in this guided meditation with theta binaural beats to let go of the emotions bottled up inside that tend to swirl inside our bodies long after an event has taken place. Release the control and watch your body melt into the calm.

Sometimes negative energy can build up inside you.

Maybe you feel anxious,

Stressed,

Or angry.

You may embody that stress,

And your body tightens up.

When you feel this way,

It's helpful to release those emotions,

Just like a pressure valve letting out steam.

Time to let go of things that no longer serve you.

Let's start by setting an intention,

Allowing yourself to be open in this process.

Right now,

You don't need to force anything.

Allow whatever rises to come up and be released.

And now take a few deep breaths,

And we can begin.

Next,

Close your eyes and bring awareness to your breath.

Take a few deep breaths.

Inhale fully,

And then exhale slowly and gently.

Do this several times,

And notice how your chest rises and falls.

Recognize the emotions that you're feeling right now.

You don't have to do anything with them.

I just,

I want you to be aware of them.

It can even be helpful to name the emotions.

Is there a particular spot in your body where you feel that emotion?

Maybe it's in your stomach.

Is it in knots?

Maybe your shoulders are tense,

Or your chest feels tight.

Instead of you trying to push the feelings away,

I want you to allow them to pass through you.

I want you to embody them,

And then let them go.

By simply noticing how you feel without any judgment,

Without any attachment,

I want you to breathe deeply in through your nose,

And gently exhale outside of your mouth.

Let the emotions flow from your body into the air that you're breathing out,

As if they're being released into a vessel that can carry them away from you.

Imagine that your emotions right now are in a tight ball,

And now let that ball begin to spread throughout your body,

And as that ball spreads,

It begins to dissipate.

The emotions begin to melt away,

And now when you breathe in,

I want you to breathe in peace.

In fact,

Let's add some sparkles in here.

Breathe in.

Breathe in some beautiful sparkles into your body,

And when you breathe out,

I want you to breathe out those negative emotions.

With every inhale,

You feel calmer.

With every exhale,

You feel the emotions less.

It might help maybe even to imagine your feelings as a cloud,

And as you continue to breathe in all those beautiful sparkles,

Makes you just feel good,

And breathe out,

The cloud begins to disappear,

And you're gonna watch the cloud go away,

And now you are at rest,

Both in your mind and in your body.

You can think clearly.

Your muscles are relaxed.

Your emotions are not controlling you.

Your mind is at peace.

Take a few moments to just relish in this feeling of relief for just a few moments,

And when you're ready,

Go ahead and start to wiggle your toes,

Move your fingers,

Open your eyes,

And come back to where you left off.

I want you to notice how your situation has seemed to change now,

That you can think clearly again,

And you feel at peace.

You can listen to this meditation as often as you need to.

Whenever negative emotions begin to build up in you,

Use the same process to release them.

So now,

Bring your attention back to the room,

And I want you to think of this mantra as feelings may come up throughout the day.

The mantra is very simple.

It's,

I am calm,

And I am peaceful.
