Let's begin in a seated position,

Either in a chair,

On a meditation cushion,

Or maybe sitting on your bed,

Allowing your body to fully relax,

Relaxing your jaw,

Resting your shoulders away from your ears,

Gently closing your eyes,

Maybe bringing your palms to your lap.

Begin by bringing awareness to your mind,

Noticing the thoughts coming in,

And the thoughts that are leaving.

I invite you,

For today's breath work practice,

To observe without judgment,

Noticing our mind being loud maybe,

And allowing that to be the case,

Releasing expectation,

Attachment to a certain outcome,

Allowing yourself to just be here in this moment,

Exactly as you are.

Deep inhale through the belly,

Open mouth audible exhale,

Let it all go.

Deep inhale through the belly,

Fill up,

Open mouth audible exhale,

Let it all go.

One more time,

Deep inhale through the belly,

Let it go.

Letting away all that pent up energy.

Deep breath in,

Seal your lips,

Audible exhale through your throat.

Again deep inhale,

Seal your lips,

Audible exhale through your throat.

Last time deep inhale,

Seal your lips,

Audible exhale through your throat.

Inhale for one,

For two,

For three,

For four,

Hold for one,

For two,

For three,
