Visualization is a meditation technique that can provide enhanced relaxation by using the imagination to positively influence and heal the body.

It's a powerful tool for expanding your consciousness and increasing your self-awareness.

The brain doesn't make a distinction between your imagination and real life experiences.

This is why seeing uplifting images can produce the same effect in the brain and body as actually being part of those experiences.

Visualization can take some time to develop,

So if at first you find it difficult to engage your imagination,

Continue to practice and you'll notice that with time it becomes easier.

Let's begin your meditation now.

Find a comfortable seat where you won't be disturbed.

Sitting tall,

With your shoulders gently relaxed down your back.

Begin by taking a few relaxing breaths.

Breathing in peace.

Breathing out all stress and tension.

Breathing in complete peace.

Breathing out all stress and worry.

Let all the cares of your life fall away now in this moment.

Give yourself full permission to relax.

Envision a peaceful beach with a hammock and trees swaying in the wind.

The air is warm and clear.

The environment is peaceful and beautiful.

Imagine now the ocean.

Calm with gentle,

Low waves.

See yourself there on the beach.

Lying on the beach in the warmth of the sun.

Let your attention gently rest on the rhythm of the waves.

Gently moving forward and gently moving backward.

Moving forward and back.

With each wave,

Allowing yourself to surrender to the rhythm of the sound.

As you do this,

Let yourself become more and more relaxed.

More and more at ease.

Let the rhythm of the waves move through you.

Let it wash away all stress,

All tension,

All worry.

Feel the sun nourishing you.

Refreshing and relaxing your whole body.

Let the sun,

The water and all the elements naturally cleanse and rebalance your mind,

Body and spirit.

Let the peacefulness of this experience be within you.

Know that you can access this place of deep relaxation at any time.
