Welcome to day nine of the self-belief challenge here on Insight Timer.
This marks the start of seeing yourself with a little more kindness and a little less doubt.
Each day,
You'll take a few minutes to remember who you are and what you're capable of.
Let's jump in to today's session.
Welcome to trusting your own voice.
I'm Sura,
And I'll be guiding you through practice to help you trust in the power of your own voice.
Our self-belief is reflected in our confidence to express ourselves.
When we trust our voice,
We allow ourselves to be seen and heard.
For many of us,
Speaking our truth can bring up fear.
You might feel tension in your throat or the urge to hold yourself back in order to protect yourself.
If you've ever silenced yourself for shrunk in doubt,
You might have been shaped by moments when you felt judged,
Dismissed,
Or even punished for being honest.
Speaking our truth begins with trusting ourselves,
Knowing that what we have to say matters.
This practice supports you in opening your voice,
Your center of power and expression.
We'll ground ourselves and express with clarity and trust.
In this meditation,
You'll soften your throat,
Focus on affirmations,
And open to the energy of your authentic voice.
Start by finding a comfortable space.
Take a breath,
Inhale,
And exhale.
Relax your whole body and find a moment of peace.
Feel yourself safe and secure,
Rooted to the earth.
Take another breath in,
Inhale,
And exhale with a soft ahhh.
Relax through your heart,
The back of your throat,
And your jaw.
Again,
Take a deep breath in,
And exhale,
Ahhhhh.
Letting the sound reverberate from your heart.
One more breath like that,
Inhale fully,
Ahhhhh.
Let the sound move through your throat and your mouth.
Become still.
Gently repeat the following affirmations with focus and feeling.
It's safe for me to speak.
It's safe for me to express myself.
I am safe.
I trust myself.
I trust my voice.
My thoughts matter.
My perspective matters.
My voice matters.
It's healthy for me to express freely.
I believe in myself.
I believe in my words.
I know I am worthy.
I know I am whole.
I am free.
I trust my voice.
I trust my voice.
I trust my voice.
See and feel yourself fully grounded,
Speaking openly and freely.
What does it feel like to trust your voice?
Your voice is a gift.
What do you really want to say?
What does your heart,
Your spirit want to express?
Every time you trust your voice,
You strengthen your belief in yourself.
If you like,
Take a moment to share in the challenge forum what you really want to say with more trust and confidence.
Tomorrow is the final day of your challenge.
It's a powerful time to bring everything together.
Step into being your own best ally and strengthen your belief in who you are becoming.
May you trust your voice.
May you feel free to express yourself.
And may you feel safe to be exactly who you are.
Blessings.
Namaste.
