Welcome to this 10-day course on Insight Timer, which focuses on life lessons we can learn from water and apply them to our daily lives to flow through life in harmony with the universe and experience more freedom from suffering. Over the course of the lessons, The Wong Janice will take you on a journey of 8 different visualisation meditations, where you as the protagonist will walk through scenes of beautiful nature and discover the philosophy of living like water (inspired by Taoism and the Tao Te Ching), and during a soundtrack with the beautiful sounds of water recorded in nature with an added subtle touch of ambient cello music, you will be able to contemplate how you can implement these lessons in your life. Each soundtrack is 15 minutes long.
The Wong Janice is a cellist and composer of ambient cello meditation music. The philosophy of her music as the player and for the listener is simply: to be free. By using the cello and other instruments processed through effect pedals and loop machines, she creates all her music ‘in the moment’ from an uncontrolled yet focused consciousness...

Lezione 1
Introduction
We start the course with an introduction from your teacher The Wong Janice where you will learn where the inspiration for this course comes from, about the course themes, who this course is for and what you can expect to get out of the course. You will then be instructed to set your intention and prepare your space. Once you have done this, you are ready to dive straight into the next lesson on giving unconditionally. Go directly to Lesson 2. Please note that all lessons have a short guided meditation and then a soundtrack of 15 minutes.

Give Unconditionally
In this lesson we learn how water gives unconditionally with great kindness benefiting all, without asking for anything in return. Using visualisation meditation and storytelling as the basis, The Wong Janice will guide you into a peaceful scene with soft rain where you will learn water’s life lesson. For the remainder of the lesson, you will have time to contemplate how you can implement this philosophy in your life while you listen to the soundtrack of the rain and subtle cello notes in the background. By the end of the meditation, you will feel more open to new possibilities as you embrace the lesson’s theme. For this meditation you may choose to lie down, be seated, journal or move mindfully. The duration of the soundtrack is 15 minutes.

Be Humble Without Ego
In this lesson we learn how water is humble and naturally dwells in the lowest point in the immediate vicinity. Using visualisation meditation and storytelling as the basis, The Wong Janice will guide you into a peaceful scene with a river stream where you will learn water’s life lesson. For the remainder of the lesson, you will have time to contemplate how you can implement this philosophy in your life while you listen to the soundtrack of the river stream and subtle cello notes in the background. By the end of the meditation, you will feel more open to new possibilities as you embrace the lesson’s theme. For this meditation you may choose to lie down, be seated, journal or move mindfully. The duration of the piece is 15 minutes.

Have Depth
In this lesson we learn how water is deep and the goodness of this trait. Using visualisation meditation and storytelling as the basis, The Wong Janice will guide you into a peaceful scene with a sandy beach where you will learn water’s life lesson. For the remainder of the lesson, you will have time to contemplate how you can implement this philosophy in your life while you listen to the soundtrack of the river stream and subtle cello notes in the background. By the end of the meditation, you will feel more open to new possibilities as you embrace the lesson’s theme. For this meditation you may choose to lie down, be seated, journal or move mindfully. The duration of the soundtrack is 15 minutes.

Be Present And Still
In this lesson we learn that when water is still and calm it offers clarity and focus. Using visualisation meditation and storytelling as the basis, The Wong Janice will guide you into a peaceful scene with a pebble beach where you will learn water’s life lesson. For the remainder of the lesson, you will have time to contemplate how you can implement this philosophy in your life while you listen to the sound of the waves and subtle cello notes in the background. By the end of the meditation, you will feel more open to new possibilities as you embrace the lesson’s theme. For this meditation you may choose to lie down, be seated, journal or move mindfully. In this lesson we learn that water follows nature for its timing. In this lesson we learn that water goes where the current takes it, free from struggle. For the remainder of the lesson, you will have time to contemplate how you can implement this philosophy in your life while you listen to the sound of the stream and subtle cello notes in the background. By the end of the meditation, you will feel more open to new possibilities as you embrace the lesson’s theme. For this meditation you may choose to lie down, be seated, journal or move mindfully. Be Flexible
In this lesson we learn that water embraces impermanence and is open to change. Using visualisation meditation and storytelling as the basis, The Wong Janice will guide you into a peaceful scene with a sandy beach where you will learn water’s life lesson. Summary & Final Words
In the final lesson of this course, we sum up the main messages covered in the course and The Wong Janice shares some final words. Now you can go on with the lessons in your daily life. Imagine yourself, like water, flowing the way the current takes you, flowing high and low, unafraid and relaxed, free from the struggle and free to follow the ebbs and flow of life, like water. What a life that would be. Once you have completed the course from start to end, you are welcome to repeat the whole course again and let it become part of your routine or simply select any individual lessons that you would like to repeat.
