Faison with Your Mindful Moment.
This is something I've started practicing after taking a mindfulness-based stress management class and I find it to be very helpful.
So I wanted to share it with you.
What I've started to do is to take what I call three conscious breaths before I start a task.
Whether it's at work or when I'm stopping and going different places.
I just simply stop and I breathe in,
I pause and I breathe out and I pause.
So I'm just going to close my eyes.
I breathe in,
Pause,
I breathe out through my mouth and I pause.
I breathe in,
Pause,
Breathe out through my mouth and pause.
I breathe in,
Pause,
I breathe out through my mouth and that's it.
It's just a quick way to be mindful,
To focus on what it is you're about to do and to be prepared for the next moment as it is arising.
