Welcome to this guided meditation.
Begin by sitting down in a comfortable position or lying down,
Making sure that your spine is straight and relaxing your shoulders,
Moving them away from your ears.
Losing your eyes and bringing your full focus to your breath.
Bringing your awareness to the natural rhythm of your breath.
Noticing the pause between the inhale and exhale.
Exhaling the cool air that enters your nostrils as you inhale and the warm air that exits your nostrils as you exhale.
Without needing to alter your breath in any way,
Following the natural rhythm,
Observing your breath,
Observing the warm and cool air with the inhale and exhale.
Feel your abdomen and chest expand as you inhale.
And as you continue to be present with your breath,
Invite a feeling of relaxation into your body.
Letting go of any worries,
Of any to-do lists and being fully present with yourself right here,
Right now.
Releasing any resistance,
Breathing through it,
Surrendering and delving into this moment,
Knowing that all is well.
And as you continue to take a couple deep cleansing breaths in,
Releasing any stagnation through the exhale.
Breathing in peace all the way down into your lower abdomen.
And fully exhaling,
Letting go of any stress.
Breathing in peace into every cell of your body.
And exhaling stress from your body.
Following your own rhythm of deep breathing,
Focusing on bringing peace to every part of your body,
Especially the parts that need it the most.
And as you exhale,
Seeing if,
With every breath,
You can sink deeper and deeper and deeper into a state of relaxation.
To be more present in this moment,
We're going to bring our awareness to the subtle and the pervasive sounds around you.
Without pushing them away,
Staying in your center,
Observing them without any judgment.
Now bringing your awareness to your feet and relaxing your feet and your toes and ankles.
Softening your knees and thighs,
Feeling the comfortable heaviness of your feet and legs on the ground.
Feel into the pull of gravity on your legs.
This really helps with grounding and connecting you back into your body.
Breathing from the mind and into the body helps with releasing stress from the body and allows you to tune into your emotional state.
And when we are aware of our emotional state,
Then we can release any stagnation,
Any tension,
Any stress in the body.
Now imagine roots from the bottom of your feet forming like the roots of a tree,
Allowing them to grow downwards into the earth,
Going through the many layers of soil and rock until they reach the core of Mother Earth,
Connecting to her vibrance and nurturing energy,
Allowing this energy to move all the way up through your roots until they reach your feet.
This energy allow it to fill your whole body with beauty,
Nourishment and connection to the earth,
To Mother Earth.
Rest in this grounding,
Connective energy.
Now to connect to your root chakra,
Imagine a red light at the base of your spine.
Red is the color of joy,
Passion,
Fire,
Vitality and prosperity.
And breathing into this red color,
Breathing in and exhaling allowing it to expand.
Once again breathing into the red light at the base of your spine,
Allowing it to grow and expand with the exhale.
Breathing one more time into the base of your spine,
Growing this beautiful radiant red light.
Now repeating these affirmations or repeating your own affirmations that resonate with you,
I am safe.
All is well in my world.
I am supported by Mother Earth.
I take in the earth energy under my feet.
I am grounded.
I am connected to the energy of Mother Earth.
And now for the end of this meditation,
Rub your hands together and place both of your palms on your knees,
Bringing loving energy to your knees,
Knowing that right now you are grounded and connected to the earth.
Thank you for taking the time for yourself and sending you many blessings.
