Welcome to this guided grounding and centering meditation.
Begin by sitting in a comfortable position,
Back upright,
Shoulders stacked on top of the hips,
And close the eyes and become aware of your body in the space in the room that you're in.
Take a couple of deep breaths in,
Inhaling deeply and fully exhaling.
Breathe in deeply and fully exhale.
Very good.
Once again breathe in deeply,
As deep as you can,
And fully exhale.
Just be there with yourself,
With your breath,
In this very moment without judging yourself in any way or resisting anything there is in your body in this moment.
Any sensations,
Any sort of tingling,
Any emotions,
Be there with yourself in this moment.
With every inhale and exhale you move further into relaxation,
Further into surrender and letting go,
And cultivating that inner trust within you.
Relax your jaw,
Relax your forehead,
Relax your ankles and your legs.
Now bring your focus to the sole of your feet,
Both the left and the right,
And imagine roots growing from your feet,
Many thick roots growing into the ground,
Moving downwards,
Down through the many layers.
At some point reaching soil,
Reaching the many layers of earth,
Moving down,
Down all the way to the core of the earth,
Imagining the core of the earth.
You are now connected to Mother Gaia,
To Mother Earth,
Safe,
Protected and nourished.
Imagine the energy from the core of the earth moving up through your roots,
Reaching your body,
Providing this warm,
Nourishing,
Stable,
Abundant feeling,
Feeling held and loved.
Now connecting to your heart,
Give thanks to Mother Earth for all the nourishment,
For all the fruits and vegetables,
For the food,
And for all the nutrients and minerals that keeps the body balanced and healthy.
Sitting in this gratitude for a couple more seconds,
Feeling this within your heart.
Now give gratitude to your body,
To every cell,
To every organ,
To your mind,
Your heart,
Your feet that carry you out there in the world.
We are going to say some affirmations.
You can choose to say them out loud or in your mind.
I am always safe.
I love my body and appreciate my body.
My home is safe and secure.
I am grounded.
I am financially secure.
I am abundant.
I claim good health.
I claim a healthy body.
The universe will always provide for me.
I am anchored and connected to Mother Earth.
I am a divine being of light and I am safe,
Protected,
And secure.
Whenever you're ready,
You can gently open the eyes.
