Welcome to this visualization meditation.
Before we begin.
I invite you to take a slow,
Long breath.
Allow your exhale to relax you.
And find a comfortable way for your body to rest.
This meditation is a journey.
And allowing the body to feel supported and still.
Will help the mind be able to expand into this journey.
So take your time,
Slow,
Long breaths.
Body comes to rest.
Eyes will close.
Softening any tension in the body.
Allowing the muscles to relax.
If you need a moment to wiggle the fingers and toes.
Taking time to do so.
And then returning to stillness.
It's as if your body is melting towards the earth.
Gravity allowing it to be heavier and heavier.
You become more and more still.
More and more at ease in your physical body.
You listening to your breath… slow inhales… Long exhales.
The cool air comes in.
The warm air flows out.
Maybe even a pause between the inhales.
And the exhale.
The breath putting you more and more at ease.
And then turning our attention to our mind.
The thoughts that may be playing through your head.
Can you allow your thoughts,
The stories to settle down?
Imagining the mind can become as calm as a lake.
On a windless day.
The surface of the water is flat.
The water is clear.
The air is still.
And the mind becomes this safe space.
The mind is at ease.
And then putting yourself on the edge of that calm lake.
A clear sky.
Maybe you notice some sounds in the distance.
Maybe you notice some scenes around you.
But as you visualize yourself on the edge of this calm lake,
Everything seems a little clearer.
A little more at ease.
You And slowly you'll begin to turn around from the lake.
Walking away from it,
You'll notice a path going into the woods.
And with great care,
With patience.
You begin to walk this path.
Again,
Maybe you notice the sounds around you.
Colors what it looks like to walk on this path.
As you slowly go deeper and deeper into the woods.
And let yourself explore here.
Does anything look interesting to stop?
Get curious about your surroundings.
Maybe notice if there are any smells.
How the temperature of the air feels.
The humidity or dryness.
The textures around you.
And after walking for a few moments along this path through the woods You'll arrive at this cute little cabin.
And you slowly walk up the stairs.
Put your hand on the doorknob.
And enter.
Into this cozy space.
And the first thing that you'll notice in the cabin,
Straight ahead of you,
Is a mirror.
And you'll walk up to this mirror.
And take a look at yourself.
What do you look like?
In this moment.
What age are you?
You What are you wearing?
What color is your hair?
Do you have any jewelry on?
Are there any accessories that are standing out?
And just allow yourself a moment to look in the mirror at yourself and accepting that this is how you're showing up.
Exactly as you are.
And then slowly turning away from the mirror You'll see a fireplace with a fire lit.
And two chairs facing the fire.
You'll walk towards the fire.
And have a seat in the empty chair.
And just as you're getting comfortable,
You'll turn to your side.
And notice another person sitting there.
You'll make eye contact with them.
You'll smile.
You feel their warmth and love for you.
And slowly saying hello.
You'll settle into this moment together.
In the cozy cabin.
In front of the fire.
And after a moment of silence,
Of comfortable stillness,
You'll take a look at this person.
And ask them.
What message?
Do you have to share with me today?
And pausing in that moment.
And just listening.
To what they have to say.
And maybe asking any follow-up questions.
Or just letting them tell you a story.
And they're coming from a place of love.
Support of being here for you.
So what medicine?
Do they have to share with you today?
And spending a little bit more time together.
Taking in their presence.
Taking in their lessons.
Feeling their love.
For you.
And knowing that it's soon time to go.
Ask them if there's anything else.
That you need to know.
Right now.
And listen.
It's slowly time to get up.
To say goodbye.
And to thank them.
For their love.
To thank them.
For their medicine.
And saying goodbye,
You'll slowly turn away from the two chairs from the fire.
Walking towards the door of the cabin.
Now turn the knob to step out.
Making your way back down the path.
Noticing if anything has changed.
As you walk slowly.
Back to the lake.
And as you arrive to the water,
You'll step right up to the water's edge.
You'll slowly look down into this calm,
Clear water.
At your own reflection.
Saying hello to yourself.
Thinking about the lessons that you've learned.
And treating yourself with love.
With kindness.
When you feel ready to come out of this meditation,
You can wiggle your fingers and toes.
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
And maybe an exhale out of the mouth to release any energy.
Bringing some movement back into the body.
And when you feel ready.
Opening your eyes.
