Start by having a big stretch.
Stretch your body how it feels to move.
Allow yourself to breathe in and breathe out while you are moving your body and allowing any extra energy to release before you relax.
When you are ready,
Get in a comfortable position.
Once you are in this comfortable position,
Close your eyes and focus on your breath.
Follow your breath in and follow your breath out.
Keep following your breath.
Breathing in and breathing out.
When you breathe in,
Do you feel cool air?
When you breathe out,
Are you feeling the warm air?
What are you noticing about your breath right now?
Is your breath shallow?
Or are you making full deep breaths?
Allow yourself to continue tapping into your breath to this life force energy that is within you.
While you are focusing on your breath,
Take some time to do a body scan.
We are going to start at the top of our head.
Breathe in to your forehead.
Now breathe out from your forehead.
Now breathe in to your cheeks.
Allow those cheeks to relax.
Allow the tension from your neck and your jaw to release.
Allow your shoulders to drop.
Keep following your breath.
This time,
Breathe really deeply into your lungs.
Allow all the area in your chest to release any tension that you are holding onto.
Now we are going to move to the stomach.
Take a deep breath into your stomach.
All the way deep into making that belly expand like a balloon.
When you are ready,
You can release.
Release that balloon,
Allowing it to contract.
Release.
Next we are going to move to our hips.
Allow both of your hips to relax.
Picture a bright white light in your hips.
Continue to breathe in and out through this white light in your hips.
When you are ready,
With this white light,
Allow this white light to travel to your knees.
Have this white light soften and lighten any stress that you are feeling on your knees.
And have this white light now go down to your ankles.
Allow your ankles to relax.
All the stress from all of the movement is now ready to fade away and release into this white light.
Now to your toes.
Allow the white light to cover over your toes and melt into the ground.
This white light is now anchoring you into Mother Earth.
Allow yourself to feel grounded,
Centered and melt away into the energy of Mother Earth.
Mother Earth is our first mother.
She is where we are today.
Allow the warm,
Comforting energy of Mother Earth to take all your worries away.
Allow all your worries to melt into the earth.
Your Mother is here.

You can now stretch and wiggle those arms.

You can open your eyes and return back to the environment that you are in.
Continue to focus on your breath and allow yourself some time for this meditation and conversation with Mother Earth to integrate into your system and allow it to be part of your healing.
