Feel the nourishing, energising, supportive, nurturing qualities of Mother Earth while you focus on an area of your body that needs healing. Settling in and finding a position that is comfortable for you.
Becoming aware of your body,
Your positioning and posture.
How does it feel?
Would your body like to do this meditation,
Sitting or standing or lying down?
Tune into your body and its experience in this moment,
Adjusting your position to one that feels comfortable and supportive.
Noticing where your hands are placed and adjusting them if needed.
Becoming aware of your spine,
Is it as long and straight as possible?
You might like to slightly tuck your chin to help with this.
Does your spine feel comfortable and supported?
Allow your jaw to soften a little if possible.
Tuning into your body and making whatever adjustments feel right for you.
Noticing the parts of your body that are in contact with a surface.
Be aware of where there is heavy or light pressure.
Now tune into the parts of your body that aren't touching a surface and note the difference.
You might like to set an intention for this meditation,
Perhaps focusing on an area of your body where you would like to promote healing.
Your intention can be whatever you would like it to be.
It could be as simple as to heal or it might be more specific.
This is up to you to decide.
Allow your mind to focus on your newly set intention.
You might like to repeat it a few times internally.
By taking part in this meditation you are making a commitment to your health and well-being and you are connecting with your innate healing wisdom.
By setting an intention and allowing your mind to focus on the intention you can strengthen the healing process.
Become aware of your breathing.
Following and observing the natural rhythm of your inhale and exhale.
Perhaps noticing your breath for the first time today.
Having an appreciation for your breath as it enters and exits your body.
You might like to note the rise and fall of your stomach.
See how it feels when you rest your awareness here for a moment.
Now guide your awareness to your chest area and feel the inhale and the exhale.
Shift your awareness to your nostrils and notice the flow of your breath here.
Now see if you can follow your full inhale and exhale.
Following the natural rhythm of your breath.
It is completely normal for our minds to wander during a meditation.
When you notice your mind has wandered smile at your mind for doing what it does and then gently and kindly bring your awareness back to your breath.
Allow your breath to be your anchor to the present moment.
Resting your awareness on the top of your head,
Back of your head,
Your face,
Your eyes,
Nose,
Mouth,
Ears and your jaw.
Float your awareness to your neck and shoulders.
Now hold your left arm in awareness all the way from your shoulder to your fingertips.
Shifting your awareness to your right arm,
Holding your whole right arm in awareness from your shoulder to your fingertips.
Tuning into your chest area and again noticing the rise and fall of your chest as your lungs expand and contract.
Allow your awareness to flow to your abdomen being aware of the organs that sit in this area of your body.
Noting if any particular organs come to mind.
Just noting and being aware,
No need to do anything.
Becoming aware of your pelvic region and the organs in this area.
Moving your awareness to your hips.
Rest your awareness on your upper left leg,
Your knee,
Lower leg,
Ankle,
Your left foot and toes.
Shifting your awareness to your right upper leg,
Your knee,
Lower leg,
Ankle,
Right foot and toes.
Holding the left half of your body in awareness.
Now holding the right half of your body in awareness.
Hold your whole body in awareness and allowing in a sense of gratitude for all that your body does for you each and every day.
In your mind's eye,
Visualize a place in nature that is special to you.
A place that feels relaxing and healing and rejuvenating.
Allow the image to come to you.
It can be somewhere you know or somewhere you have never been.
Holding the image in your mind as much as you can.
Explore the details of this place you have chosen with curiosity.
Taking in the colors,
Textures,
Objects,
Patterns,
Sounds and smells.
Sensing in to how this place makes you feel.
And where do you feel the sensations in your body?
Taking note and allowing any feelings of relaxation and calm to spread throughout your body.
Within your visualization,
Find a place you would like to sit down or lie down or stand.
Notice the parts of you that are in contact with the earth beneath you.
Really feel the connection and support beneath you.
Breathe in the nourishing healing properties of Mother Earth in through your feet and allow the energy to flow throughout your body especially to where it is needed the most.
Seeing the energy flow into your body through your feet and feel a releasing and letting go with each out breath.
Tuning in to the healing properties of Mother Earth and nature and breathe them in through your feet.
Breathe in healing energy allowing in a sense of softening and relaxation and release and let go with your out breath.
Falling deeper and deeper into your experience as you are nourished throughout your body by the healing properties of nature.
Breathing in calm cleansing energy and releasing and letting go with your out breath.
Feeling the healing energy of nature as it flows through your body to wherever it is needed.
Allowing the energy to be directed by your innate healing wisdom.
Feeling the nourishing qualities energizing supporting nurturing qualities while you focus on an area of your body that needs healing.
Gently breathe in through your feet to the area of your body that requires healing then breathe out of this part of your body really gently and release into Mother Earth for healing.
Breathing in healing energy and releasing what is not needed with your out breath.
Allow the healing calming energy to flow through and around you as you rest in awareness and gratitude for Mother Earth.
Drawing your awareness once more to the calming,
Settling,
Healing energy that is flowing through and around you.
And feeling grateful for all that you have received.
Becoming aware of your breath,
Your life force that is with you each and every moment.
Following the rhythm of your breath as the healing energy continues to flow.
Resting your awareness in your heart area and allow it to open and expand as much as possible.
As you once again express gratitude towards Mother Earth and the healing supportive grounding energy that you have received.
Feeling appreciation for this incredible planet that supports us each and every day.
Becoming aware of your body as a whole.
How does it feel?
Tuning into your body and slowly and gradually allowing any movement that is needed.
Allowing yourself to feel present and grounded in your body as much as possible.
Becoming aware of the surface that has supported you during the meditation.
Keep going below this surface until you are aware of Mother Earth beneath you and supporting you.
When you feel ready,
Opening your eyes even if just a little at first.
Taking in your environment,
Observing the objects,
Shapes and colours you can see.
Noticing the sounds you can hear.
As you continue throughout your day,
If you need nourishment,
Energy or healing,
You can tune into your connection with Mother Earth and you can do this at any time and as often as you'd like.

Celebrate and really acknowledge the time you have set aside to honour and support your health and wellbeing.
