Relax and calm your body. Breathe in vital, clean energy and release through any areas of tension that may have built up through the day or week. Breathe in and feel energised, breathe out and release any aches and pains. Breathe in fresh energy and release with the out-breath anything stale or stuck. Use your intention to do this and if it helps, you can visualise it happening with each breath cycle. Breathe in fresh energy and release what you do not need.

Closing your eyes if you feel comfortable and take some time to settle into a comfortable position whether that is sitting or lying down notice your body notice the parts of it that are touching the chair the floor the couch or the bed depending on where you have chosen to meditate today tune in and notice your physical body how is it feeling right now notice without judgment breathe in and breathe out has it been a tough day has your body had to work really hard to get through the day has it been strenuous has it been tiring have you spent extended periods of time sitting or being motionless reflect on your day and notice what your body is telling you are there any aches any pains any tension take a moment and notice and be aware scan your body slowly starting at the top of your head and finishing at the tips of your toes take in all the information your body has to share with you right now if you have tension in your head breathing calm soothing energy and release the tension with the out breath really visualize and see this happening and use your intention breathing soothing calm energy and release tension with the out breath if your awareness goes straight to a particular part of your body that really needs your attention then follow this awareness and use your breath breathing vital clean energy and release through any areas of tension that may have built up through the day or the week breathing and breathe out breathing and feel energized and breathe out and release any aches and pains and tension breathing and breathe out breathing fresh energy and release with the out breath anything that is stale or stuck breathing and breathe out really using your intention to do this and if it helps you can visualize it happening with each breath cycle breathing and breathe out breathing fresh energy and release what you don't need breathing and breathe out continue to do this for any parts of the body that pop into your mind whether it's your shoulders legs back feet or arms breathe in and breathe out breathing and breathe out breathe in and breathe out breathe in and breathe out let your body tell you where you need to release from breathing and breathe out if nothing specific is coming up then you can release all over breathing and breathe out keep your focus on your breath breathe in relaxing calm energy and breathe out tension from wherever it may be continue this in your own time for the next minute breathe in and breathe out tune in and notice how your body is responding feel the calmness wash through every cell in your body breathe in and breathe out notice if there are any changes happening as we are working with the breath tune in and notice your physical body again how is your body feeling now compared to when you started the meditation are there any differences do you feel the same just notice and be aware and receive the information without judgment breathe in and breathe out while being aware of your body feel grateful for all it does for you each and every day be grateful for all of the systems within our body that work with us without us having to do anything breathe in pause and feel grateful breathe out pause and feel grateful breathe in and breathe out think about your nervous system has it been overworked today if it has then that's okay because that was today and you still have tomorrow and most importantly there is this moment right now where you are allowing calmness throughout your body while you were feeling calm and relaxed ask your body what it needs from you tomorrow do you need more movement do you need to notice your breath and calm your nervous system do you need to stretch do you need more sleep do you need some nourishing food do you need a massage do you need to take regular breaks to ensure you have time to recharge do you need to stop pushing yourself and tune into the needs of your body do you need to meditate do you need to exercise more do you need more water do you need to stop and take a moment and appreciate your amazing body and all it does for you even when you are tired sick or exhausted your body keeps working towards your good health take a moment and appreciate this now ask your body what it needs from you for the rest of this day and tomorrow really tune in and be aware what can you do to support and respect your body see yourself doing what you have chosen visualize it now and see how it feels decide on how you are going to plan and make time for what you have decided to do where and how will it fit into your morning day afternoon or evening make sure what you have chosen is achievable for your circumstances right now and then you can build upon this when you can congratulate yourself every step of the way for each achievement whether you consider it huge or small for example you might choose to do ten mindful breaths every day rather than starting with ten minutes of meditation every day find a starting place that is comfortable for you create a healthy habit in a compassionate way and congratulate yourself for starting rather than remaining stuck or overwhelmed and doing nothing feel how great it feels to honor and acknowledge your physical body and take care of yourself feel how great it is to take that small step that you will build upon when the time is right now notice your physical body in its entirety hold the intention that you are healed and rejuvenated breathe in and breathe out breathe in and breathe out breathe in and breathe out breathe in and breathe out wriggle your fingers and toes and bring your awareness back to the room you are in opening your eyes feeling calm and relaxed breathe in and breathe out
