So start to welcome your breath in.
Breath into your body in this wave-like manner.
As you breathe,
Watch it flow all the way down towards the abdomen and the hips.
And as it exhales,
Gently cascading back up and out of the nose or the mouth.
And just reminding yourself that this is a moment,
The start of the day,
To be with yourself.
To empower yourself and charge you up ready for the day ahead.
So as you breathe,
Feel for a cleansing of breath of any stagnant energy through your night time.
As the breath washes in through the system,
Down through the rib cage,
The belly,
The hips.
Is it getting stuck anywhere?
You may even like to hold your body,
Your diaphragm,
To see if anywhere needs a little extra support today.
I'm going to use the diaphragm because it's quite a nice place to start.
If you notice that one side is more active,
More responsive,
Feel for breathing into the other side,
Maybe placing both hands on one side of the rib or even towards the back of the rib cage.
And just starting to allow for a more free flow of breath into that area.
And then once you've done one final round here,
We're just allowing and being with an area of your body,
Welcoming extra vitality to that space.
Bring the focus and attention,
Although you're breathing deeply,
Bring the attention to the crown of your head.
And just notice to begin with any sensation around the crown of your head.
Spending another breath here,
Resting in the crown of the head.
And when you're ready,
Moving down and just bringing the awareness between the eyebrows,
Along the forehead.
And beginning and just staying with this as an awareness,
Observing,
Not looking to change it in any way,
You're just observing sensation.
I noticed that my body,
If anyone else is seated,
Started to lean forward,
So just a gentle encouragement to guide the weight back,
If that's appropriate for you as well.
Take another breath with awareness at the third eye.
And then bring internal gaze down into the throat.
And just resting and allowing yourself to observe the area.
Breath is freely flowing,
But now with an attention in the throat.
Next in breath,
Welcome yourself around your heart area.
Just observing the front,
The sides,
The back of the heart.
Does it feel big and open?
Does it feel a bit shut up today?
Again,
Not looking to change anything right now,
It's just a simple observation of these points.
Getting to know how you are today.
And then welcome energy into just under the ribcage,
Under the diaphragm,
Above the belly button,
Solar plexus.
Maybe it's awareness of how the breath moves in this area,
Maybe it's a tense feeling or sense of energy,
Vibrancy,
What is it for you today?
And then move further down into the belly,
The low abdomen.
And all the way down to the base,
The root.
If you're clenching and holding,
Just let the area at the root soften.
And then breathe in and take everything all the way back up.
So this visualization of just going back up through the centers.
And resting at the crown of the head.
And welcoming the energy,
The vibrancy of water,
Purifying,
Restoring,
Life-giving.
Entering and pouring in through the crown of the head.
I want you to visualize the back of these energy centers opening up and letting the energy flood and wash through this area,
All of these areas.
And emptying out of debris,
Toxicity,
Stuck,
Lifeless energy.
And you might visualize,
If you have a color you represent with each of these points,
You might like to visualize a deeper version of this,
Like emptying through.
Pouring in through the crown of the head and letting this vibrancy,
This feeling of water running through your body.
And while the back is pouring out and opening,
As does the front.
The front of these energy centers opens and lets out a cascade of water,
Light,
Whatever feels appropriate for you.
To flush these systems,
To restore.
Cancer is the space of home,
The sign of the home,
Represented by the crab.
The crab has this harder outer shell,
But inside everything is tender and soft.
And we're tending to this internal landscape today,
This place of home.
Once you feel that you have emptied these spaces enough,
See them shining more brightly,
More vibrantly.
Drawing in an energy that is going to serve you today,
A vibrancy that is going to serve you today.
Feel centers closing from the back,
From the front,
To hold now these vibrant balls of light,
Of energy.
Knowing that you are receiving a healing vibration that is going to serve you today.
Breathe from the crown of the head all the way to the root of your body,
The perineum.
And let the breath go.
Feel for bringing attention back to the breath and just watching this gentle flow in and out as deeply as it will go for you today.
And a reminder that water is healthiest when it's flowing.
Your body is healthiest when it is moving and not stagnant.
So maybe today,
Take this idea of water being present in your life,
Present in your heart,
And looking to be more fluid.
Or whatever it is that your heart,
Your body needs today.
Start to notice the sounds in your space.
Welcoming some energy,
Movement back to your fingers,
Your toes.
Welcoming maybe a full stretch,
Anything that you need to just gently bring yourself back into this space today.
