Heather Schenck

Heather has a dedicated mindfulness practice and enjoys practicing as a mindfulness meditation teacher. She received formal teacher training through UC Berkeley's Greater Good Science Center. She is dedicated to helping people find more peace and joy in their lives using the practices and teachings of Buddhism from a secular perspective. She also works as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse, and is a mother of two young children. She is passionate about making mindfulness practices more accessible to everyone.

This set of meditations on Gratitude displays a mastery of understanding and compassion. Thank you so very much. I am mourning the loss of my living daughter who has taken herself out of my life. It’s been the most difficult transition for the last year and a half since my youngest brother took his life . These meditations have offered me a sweet, gentle resting spot, and I can’t tell you how grateful I am so I just wanted to write this anyway. Namaste.
