Welcome to this inner child healing meditation.
My name is Glenn Harold and this recording has been designed to help you heal your inner child of old wounds and traumas.
The meditation will guide you to connect with your inner child and heal and nurture this aspect of yourself.
And even if you feel emotional during the process,
You will feel safe and secure at all times,
As emotional abreactions are often a part of the inner child work,
As you are clearing old stuff from the past.
However,
If you feel it is too intense at any time,
Take a break from listening and maybe even consider a one to one session with a trained therapist.
And even though inner child work can be intense at times,
When you clear old blocks,
You will begin to feel lighter and more like your real self.
So I recommend you continue to use this recording as often as you can,
As the healing process can have a number of layers.
And before you listen to the following meditation,
Just set a strong intent to open up now.
Open up to the healing process by affirming to yourself now that you will clear everything you are ready to at this moment in a safe way.
So just let go of all analytical thought,
Open yourself up and trust in the process.
Now allow yourself to sit or lie somewhere comfortable,
Close your eyes and acknowledge that you are ready to heal your inner child.
And it's important to approach this journey in the right space,
So just take a moment to clear your mind of all thought or judgement.
And one of the best ways to clear your mind is to breathe.
So just focus all of your attention on your breath now and begin by breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Slowly and deeply,
In through your nose and out through your mouth.
Let go of all thought and connect with the feelings of your body.
And as you breathe deeply,
Feel the fresh air filling your lungs and notice how good that feels.
Just continue to breathe away any tension and relax more and more with every slow out breath.
Observe each and every breath you take and stay connected to this moment.
And as you do this,
You will feel yourself becoming very still and centred.
Now imagine you are breathing in through your heart chakra,
In the middle of your chest.
And as you breathe out,
Breathe out love.
Project the feeling of love out from your heart.
Be aware of your body and the movement of energy.
Just continue to relax by breathing in and out through your heart chakra.
And feel yourself floating down into an ever deepening state of relaxation.
Where your sensitivity is heightened and yet you are deeply relaxed.
Deeper and deeper relaxed.
And with every slow breath,
Feel the relaxation in the tips of your toes and the muscles in your legs,
Ankles and feet.
Resting and softening now.
You feel a wave of relaxation rise up your spine and into the muscles across your back.
And you feel every muscle in your stomach and chest become loose and relaxed and free of any tightness.
Feeling ever more comfortable as this feeling of relaxation continues to spread into your arms and all the way down to your fingertips.
Just become more aware of a growing feeling of inner peace and calmness.
As this wave of relaxation spreads up into your shoulders and your neck.
Relaxing you more and more.
Feel your head resting comfortably,
Letting go of all thought,
So that your mind is clear.
Feel all the tiny muscles in and around your eyes relaxing.
And feel your jaw muscles softening and letting go of any tightness or tension.
Feel the softness across your face and sense a peace behind your eyes.
And feel very safe and secure now,
As you rest in stillness and peace.
Go deeper and expand your consciousness.
Go deeper and expand your consciousness.
Now imagine you are walking through a beautiful garden on a pleasant summer's day.
The sun feels warm and uplifting and there is a gentle breeze which feels so good against your skin.
And there is no pollen here,
As the air is pure and fresh.
And the first thing you notice is the soft grass beneath your feet and the gentle sound of birds singing,
Echoing faintly in the breeze.
It's a magical place,
With many beautiful flowers and tall elegant trees with strong roots that are anchored deeply into the earth.
And you take a deep breath and marvel at all the amazing vibrant colours around you.
And as you stroll through the garden,
Ahead of you,
You can see a young child sitting on a bench.
And as you take a few more steps towards the bench,
An awareness comes over you that you are about to meet your inner child.
And as you approach the bench,
You know it is ok for you to sit down next to the child.
You take a few moments to adjust to the surroundings and you get a sense that you are both protected and safe here.
And that only good can come from this meeting.
You turn and look at the child next to you and you see how beautiful she looks.
You ask how she is and you listen carefully,
Noticing her reactions and you sense your heart chakra opening.
And you know that you are also communicating on an energetic level so that the communication is at times unspoken and intuitive.
And you soon begin to find out more about your child.
How she is really feeling and what she needs or if there is anything they want to let go of.
And I will leave you for a few minutes now to continue to communicate with your inner child and build this relationship.
And now you have a greater insight into the needs of your inner child.
You can begin to reassure them and offer her comfort,
Give her all the love and security that she needs.
Feel free to hug and hold her and tell her how very special she is.
Let her know that she is a beautiful,
Special person and that she can let go of any self-doubt or fears or worries.
Make her feel safe and let her know that nothing will hold her back now.
She can be all that she wants to be and that she deserves to be happy and to live her life with complete freedom.
Take a moment to continue this loving,
Healing process now and continue to help her let go and embrace love.
Put your heart and soul into it and feel your heart chakra wide open now.
And now you are going to hear some special healing affirmations.
And as you hear them,
Connect with your feelings.
Breathe in and out through your heart chakra once again and allow the phrases to go deep inside you and let them resonate with you.
Feel them move through you and become so deeply absorbed into your consciousness.
Use your feelings to connect with them strongly.
Let the affirmations become a part of you and you can repeat them silently or out loud.
My inner child continues to heal and grow strong.
My inner child is loved unconditionally.
I deserve to be happy,
Healthy and healed.
I love and cherish my inner child.
And I want you to know that this healing process will continue in your everyday life and the relationship with your inner child will continue to grow.
And just by closing your eyes and reconnecting,
You can be there for her anytime she calls.
And your inner child will feel happier and more loved all the time.
And as a result,
You will feel so much stronger in yourself and be able to deal with the ups and downs of life with so much more confidence and self-belief.
And before you awaken,
I want you to imagine you are saying goodbye to your inner child and reassuring her one final time,
Letting her know that you are always there for her.
You hug her and tell her how very special she is and that she is loved so much.
And you let her know that you are always together now and that anytime she needs you,
You will always be there for her.
And as you leave the garden,
You both know that you can be together anytime you choose to and that this special relationship will continue to blossom.
And if any emotion has arisen in you,
Just know that this is a natural part of the healing process and it's absolutely fine.
And as you continue to let go of old hurts,
You will feel lighter and more liberated and free as time passes by.
And now you can drift away into a deep relaxing sleep and the gentle sounds will continue to wash over you and heal and cleanse your energy.
So just drift away to the music and when you wake up from this sleep,
You will feel completely refreshed and relaxed and so peaceful inside.
