Hello,
Welcome to your guided meditation.
Today we will begin sitting in a cross-legged seated position.
So when you're ready just getting comfortable placing your hands in your lap or on your thighs with your palms facing up.
Again,
Begin to close your eyes,
Drawing your shoulders back and down.
And having your chin slightly pointing down.
And just arriving in your body today.
Taking a few deep cleansing breaths.
Watching as your chest rises with your inhale filling up your lungs.
And then on the exhale releasing anything you've been holding onto today.
Maybe noticing the cool air coming in through your nostrils.
And on your exhale the warm air brushing against your top lip.
Taking a few more conscious breaths here.
Just letting go of anything you've been holding onto.
Letting it melt away.
Returning it back to the earth.
Feeling your seat bones root into where you're sitting.
Notice how it feels to be held.
To be supported.
I want you to imagine a seed that has just been planted in rich dark soil.
And a small seed full of potential.
Full of life.
And as the seed slowly starts to grow,
It begins to grow sprouts.
And as it reaches for the sun,
Slowly those sprouts are finding its way.
Cracking the crust of the earth.
Noticing that the seed doesn't rush.
It's in perfect divine timing.
Noticing how the seed begins to grow.
Sprouting up.
Reaching towards the sun.
And eventually becoming a beautiful expression of a tree.
Stable.
Rooted into the ground.
Maybe you place your hand on the trunk of the tree.
Noticing how it supports you.
And how its branches grow wide off of that trunk.
A beautiful expression of what once was just a small seed.
Noticing how the leaves on that tree know how to release and let go each season.
And those leaves eventually become nutrients back to the earth.
This natural rhythm of nature is so beautiful.
Just breathing that feeling into your heart space.
And what would it feel like to allow your body,
Your being to flow with this rhythm?
The natural rhythm of the universe.
This intelligence that allows seasons to change,
Planets to turn is also within us.
Within you.
Noticing maybe how you've changed with each season.
How you've grown taller.
Maybe how your hair has changed.
And what does that feel like to fully accept these changes?
These ebbs and flows of life,
Of our planet,
Of the universe.
And breathing in deeply and filling up your whole body with this loving intelligence.
And feeling how you are a part of this beautiful orchestra.
The beautiful,
Ever-changing seasons in our lives,
In our bodies,
In our breath.
And bringing your awareness back to your breath.
Just allowing it to rise and fall like tides on the shore.
Feeling this connection to yourself,
And to the planet,
And to the universe.
And taking your palms together,
Gently rubbing them back and forth.
And then placing your hands on your heart.
And sealing in this practice and this feeling.
And taking a nice deep breath in through your nose.
Filling up all the way to the top.
And then exhale,
Releasing.
And when you're ready,
You can gently flutter your eyes open.
Bring yourself back.
And bring this feeling with you through the rest of your day.
