Hi and welcome to your stress relief meditation.

So today,

You can either do this meditation lying down or finding a comfortable seated position with your back supported.

So just getting all settled,

Maybe finding a blanket to cover you,

Making sure you feel nice and comfortable.

When you're ready,

We'll come into stillness.

Take our hands in our lap and begin to close down our eyes.

So just take a few breaths to arrive in this moment in your body.

Deep inhale through the nose and letting it go through the mouth.

One more time,

This time rolling the shoulders up to the ears and exhale,

Letting them roll down your back.

Just taking a few moments to return to your normal breath without needing to do anything.

Just watch the inhale and exhale,

Leave your body.

So feel the cool air coming in through your nostrils,

Swirling at the back of your throat,

Filling your lungs all the way up.

And on your exhale,

Feeling that warm air release from your body,

Letting it take away any unwanted or stuck energy from your body,

Just seeing it leave on your exhale.

Starting to soften the muscles in your forehead,

So just letting them relax,

Softening the muscles around your eyes,

Your jaw,

Moving down your neck,

Down your shoulders,

Letting them relax even more.

Feeling this move down your arms all the way into the tips of your fingers.

Letting your arms become heavier,

Your hands become heavier in your lap.

Feeling the support of your body.

Taking a deep breath and exhale,

Allowing your chest to soften,

Letting any stress or anxiety just leave your body picturing it melting right off your body into the floor.

Moving down your torso,

Relaxing your stomach,

Allowing your breath to move all the way down to your lower belly,

Allowing your seat bones to be firmly rooted on your chair or your bed.

Just feeling your body supported.

Moving down your legs,

Releasing any tension,

Any tight muscles,

Just giving them permission to relax,

Permission to let go for just a moment.

Moving down your calves all the way into your feet.

Just taking a few breaths into all four corners,

All corners of your body.

Just allowing your to-do list or anything on your mind,

Just releasing it for a few moments here.

Allowing yourself to just be in the moment with your body and your breath.

Bringing to mind something in your life that makes you really joyful or happy.

Maybe it's a person or a place.

Allowing that feeling to fill up your body.

Opening up your heart with this feeling.

Allowing this feeling to become so strong that any of those other lower vibrational feelings like stress and tension just naturally leave your body disappearing into the air.

Anchoring yourself into this feeling,

Into your heart space.

Allowing this to guide you through the rest of your day.

So using this feeling as your compass,

Your North Star,

Bringing you back to your truth and to the present moment.

Take a deep breath in and exhale out.

Begin to rub your hands together in front of you,

Creating some heat and some energy.

And then placing your hands over your heart,

Sealing in this feeling.

Knowing that you can always return here whenever you need.

Slowly bringing yourself back.

Begin to open your eyes.

Maybe take a gentle stretch.

And moving through your day with ease and joy.

Namaste.
