Welcome.
If everything feels like a little bit too much right now,
Just know that you don't need to figure everything out.
You don't need to make a plan.
You don't need to push through.
And you also don't need to make yourself feel better straight away.
For the next few minutes,
Let this be a space where nothing is required of you.
Just your space to pause,
To rest.
To come inwards.
To bring yourself back to peace again.
Before we begin,
You might like to bring a blanket or a pillow close to you.
Just for a little bit more warmth and support.
Maybe you can wrap yourself in the blanket.
Or hold a pillow against your chest like you're just hugging it.
Let yourself choose whatever feels supportive today.
And if nothing feels right,
That's completely okay too.
Just make yourself fully comfy and cosy.
And begin by noticing the surface underneath you.
Feel yourself being held by the Earth.
You don't have to hold yourself up,
You can sit with some support,
Leaning onto your bed or chair.
Or you can even lie down and let the ground,
The bed or whatever is underneath you just take some of that weight that you've been carrying.
Just giving that inner weight back into the Earth.
And just noticing your body.
How is your body arriving in the space?
Maybe it feels a bit tired.
Hands.
Or restless.
Maybe you even feel disconnected from it.
Just notice as there is nothing you need to change.
Your body is here with you.
Your body is supported here.
And if it feels comfortable for you,
Maybe place one hand over your belly in the other hand on your chest or somewhere else that feels soothing and nourishing.
Feel the warmth and weight of your hands.
Feeling the texture underneath your hands.
You don't have to breathe deeply,
You don't have to force that breath.
Just allow your natural breath to be here.
Perhaps your exhale is becoming a little bit longer.
A little bit softer and your inhale a little bit more spacious.
As you take your next breath out,
Imagine giving yourself permission to put something down.
Not necessarily everything and all that weight that you're carrying but just a little bit.
Just a little bit of any heaviness or tension putting it down.
You can just quietly say to yourself or acknowledge I don't have to carry everything right now.
I don't have to solve everything right now.
Let your body hear those words.
Beautiful.
You can keep resting your hands as they are or maybe bringing your arms around yourself is like giving yourself a gentle hug.
Maybe placing your hands on top of your shoulders and the opposite arms Gentle hug with love,
With nourishment.
Wherever you are,
Just feel your own presence.
Feel the contact of your hands against your body.
You are here.
You are with yourself.
You are breathing alive.
Maybe bring your hands now on top of your heart.
Just feeling that warmth of your own touch.
Sending yourself some love.
Some love and appreciation for everything that you're doing,
For everything that you are,
For how hard you are working.
And how much you are caring.
Feeling that simple presence.
The heartbeat in your chest.
You simply being here is enough.
And now if you want maybe slightly massaging the space of the heart or any movements that feel nourishing now.
Maybe a stretch of your arms over your head.
Maybe slight swaying or rocking if you are seated.
Or if you are lying down,
Bring your knees to your chest.
Just that gentle hug again,
Giving your nervous system that soothing touch.
Just notice what happens when you give your body a bit of support,
A bit of awareness,
Maybe you can feel something relaxing,
Some softening.
Or maybe nothing is changing and that's ok.
We are not trying to force relaxation.
But we are just simply offering the body another possibility.
Instead of being overwhelmed and tense.
You can just be resting and supported here.
Again,
If you have that blanket over your body or that pillow next to you,
Bring it close to your chest.
Let yourself be close to it,
Feel its softness,
Feel its weight.
Maybe you can rest your head against it.
And imagine creating a little space around yourself.
A small protected space.
A place where you don't have to respond to the outside world for a moment.
Where there is nothing to answer,
Nothing to achieve,
Nothing to prove.
Just your space,
Just for you.
Let yourself be held and contained in this space.
Warm and protected.
Sometimes,
When we are overwhelmed,
We don't need more stimulation and more pushing.
We need less.
Less noise.
Less doing.
Less reacting.
Less focus on the outside and more focus on the inside.
Let yourself be protected inside.
To restore that energy.
To open your heart again.
And now,
If you want,
You can bring one or both hands to your forehead,
To your head,
If that feels supportive.
Feel the warmth of your palms.
Perhaps a gentle stroke across her forehead.
And gentle massage or pressure over your head.
As though you were saying to your mind,
You don't have to think about everything right now.
You don't have to think about everything right now.
Let your mind have a little bit less responsibility.
And more space to simply just be.
And then just landing hands wherever they are comfortable Noticing that space of simply being with yourself.
Not thinking about yourself.
Not trying to do anything with yourself.
But just being with yourself.
Knowing that you are allowed to step away from the outside world,
You are allowed to rest even when not everything is solved and taken care of.
Yes,
You are allowed to have that space for yourself.
And through your next few deep breaths,
Just feeling like you are welcoming more love into your awareness.
More ease and softness.
Maybe you are beginning to feel any texture underneath you again.
Maybe taking a big yawn.
Stretching your arms or your legs.
And beginning to notice the room around you again.
The sounds.
The temperature of the air.
Your body.
And that gentle,
Slow breath that's always,
Always with you.
And before you move on with your day,
Just see if you can take just a little bit of this feeling with you.
This feeling of being held,
Of being protected.
You may still have things to do,
Of course,
And you may still have things that are difficult.
But perhaps now you can meet them from a different place,
From a different perspective.
Knowing that you can always,
Always come back.
With your next few deeper breaths inviting a bit more movement into your body.
Maybe even giving a gentle massage to your face,
To your jaw.
Then bowing down to your heart for guiding the way as you slowly return to your day.
Thank you so much for being here,
For listening.
I hope you enjoyed and sending you so many blessings.
Namaste.
