It's been three months that I started publishing my meditations in this online world.

The first way to measure the success is how much followers I have,

How much donations have I got,

How many people have played it,

How much ratings and reviews have I got and of course the main rating system,

What is my average rating.

But as they say,

What was my goal when I started it?

My goal was to help people in the same way that meditations have helped me throughout the years.

When I started meditating along with studying Buddhism,

The whole outlook of my life got changed.

I got more relaxed,

I could control my mind,

I was able to cope with negatives and rejoiced in my positives.

The same feeling,

The same happiness I wanted to impart to the world and with this feeling I started my meditations in the online world as well.

Now if I see the first method of average rating and reviews,

It is kind of a rating system which the world has developed and we have got accustomed to it.

But look at the emotion it arises in you.

You are anxious when you don't get the number of plays,

You get depressed when you don't get a better rating or you feel wonderful when you get more followers but now you want more.

Now compare it with the second method of associating it with your goal that I want to help others.

If I see that way,

Even if I was able to relax just one person in these last three months,

That is so much more than a five star rating.

I imagine that one person sitting thousands of kilometers away from me listening to my meditation and feeling good,

Feeling revived and thanking me for helping them out.

They have a smile on their face,

They feel peaceful.

Wow!

What a feeling!

And suddenly that one person's happiness and smile is so much more content than all the other average rating systems in the world.

Let's talk about our day to day world.

It doesn't mean that we don't see the metrics and improve our content or work.

Of course we should do that.

If I see a lot of people listening to one type of content or topic,

Then probably the world wants it more,

Needs it more.

Of course if the content is getting low ratings,

That means I need to improve my quality.

But what should be your main rating system?

That how many people have a broad smile zone?

How many clients you have served and felt happy because of you?

How you're simplifying your clients' lives and they have thanked you for that?

That should be the main rating system for each and every one of us.

Speaking from a psychology term,

What is the difference in these two approaches?

The difference is the first system of average rating is inward looking,

Which relates only to you.

The second system is outward looking and constitutes of millions of people.

You're concerned now about millions of people.

Your energy flows now not just to one person called as me,

But to millions of people out there.

And that's why change your rating system in this rat race.

Try to give to millions of people than to just one person,

Me,

And you will be less anxious about yourself and more happy seeing smiles on other faces.

I would like you to experiment this for one day.

Every time you see someone,

Just send love from your heart to him and wish that person happiness by saying,

May you be happy.

At the end of the day,

I want you to notice that how much less anxious you were today about yourself.

How much less you judged yourself and the other person and how much more your energies were flowing freely in all directions to millions of people.

I hope that brings a smile on your face.

Share with us your experiences and have a good day giving love to others.
