We talk about the insatiable quest for happiness through money, and how to overcome it. Today’s practice is to help you disassociate from the emotions tied to money. This will help free you to become autonomous with your joy and happiness.

Take Control of Overspending
We look at financial freedom through being thrifty and creative. This doesn’t mean we are reducing joyful experiences, just shifting our perspectives to prioritize joyful experiences that come at no or little cost. The practice today encourages you to think outside of the box on ways you can be more creative with your recreational spending habits.
Leçon 3
Spending on Experiences
A common focus is a desire to be wealthy for the sake of being wealthy. This is a slight money hiccup. Is the focus just to be wealthy? Is the focus on accumulating lots of nice things? Or, are you looking for something that wealth can bring you to enhance your life energy, like financial independence or early retirement to do more of the things you love? Is it the ability to travel and live? It’s important to get clear on what it is that you desire with your money goals. When you really know your goal, then you have a clear target to aim for. In our practice you will be creating a proactive list to start consciously and actively planning your life experiences for your years ahead.
Leçon 4
The Joy Value
Halt purchases that are induced by stress, as you seek a quick shot of excitement. For our practice today we are going to create a mindful habit that you will use for future purchases. You can also use this for items you already own if you feel called to it. This vetting process ensures that what you are buying is something that will improve your life experience, and not be a temporary bandaid.
Leçon 5
Celebrating Your Progress
Whatever negative or positive money amount you have, you can always be positive about your situation. If you start celebrating these small gains, you will be delightfully encouraged to continue the process. This can make the relationship between you and your money enjoyable, instead of fostering a negative attitude that makes it difficult to create progression.

Action & Integration
I have one more mindfulness practice for you, and an integration practice so that you can take clear action moving forward with your own mindfulness plan. We will use all the practices from the previous five days, Assess how each one makes you feel, and choose your favorites to create your own practice moving forward.
